Perhaps look at it from the perspective that Paro is new to all this. What experience does she even have with men, let alone men like Rudra, men with a past.
Now I'm not saying he is at fault or anything. But Paro simply doesn't know how to deal with this...
She had established something in her mind that have a name to whatever was between them and has held onto that since the time she realized he was the once.
She held onto it even through all the hate he threw at her. She used it to establish herself as the wife and him as the husband. And that was it.
Paro never expected to have someone come and shatter the intangible bond between them. The real one and the one in her mind.
She's confused. She still loves Rudra, she always has. But she has now been made to confront the question of whether or not he holds any of those feelings for her. She might feel as if she just created everything in her head.
And Rudra has not confirmed or denied her in any way (not that he or anyone should be compelled to) but this has left Paro hanging... It's like someone threw her in a pool, but she can never swim nor drown.
Jealously on the other hand... I don't think she understands that she is jealous. I mean what does she have to go off of? A marriage to a man that last for mere hours? Not to forget that said man was a terrorist.
She's trying to be understanding. Rudra's past doesn't matter to her as long as it doesn't matter to him. Make sense?
But he isn't giving her any answers. He can't stand to see her upset yet he isn't denying or confirming anything. She wants to give herself to him completely, but a good woman can only do that when she knows that he isn't someone else's. That isn't the case here.
And Laila. Paro is just beginning to understand who she really is. She doesn't know what value she held in the past for Rudra. How can the woman her husband spent the last right years with mean nothing? That's another thing, Paro can't comprehend how one can have a relationship with someone with any emotional attachment.
So don't forget that Paro is very naive. She hasn't experienced any of this, she doesn't understand what to do or how to do it. These conflicting side of Paro show how conflicted she is on the inside.
She's hurt. But she trusts Rudra. But she doesn't want to get in his way. Yet she loves him. And so on.
Now with everything I just defended Paro for, I can also defend Rudra for. Both are just very confused, they have both come across things in their life that they have never encountered before... So of course it'll take some time before things are aorted out.
Plus our villains aren't helping :P
