There were so many jokes going on in my head I couldn't even make a mental note of them all.. but then they had to use the classic weeping willow to dampen the spirits.
Paro had my respect yesterday when she stated that its not Rudra's past she has a issue with cause that was before her but its the future with him that she is worried about cause he has not given her any rights as his wife. Infact when she recalled his vows and wept it was because she realised that he may live up to his words.
After all here was a man who was involved with a woman intimately for 8 long years and felt no emotional connect to her. How could she know she wasnt going to have the same fate??
So when she questioned him about the same.. she just wanted him to give her the reason to believe theirs was a different relationship!
However, today's episode just took off on a different route all together for me. From taking the stand that you cant force someone to love at the start of the episode, Paro moved to almost emotionally blackmailing Rudra to love her when she said " Can the king give his heart to her"??
That's a lot of pressure to put. The guy has made it more than clear in words and action that Laila means nothing to him... yet instead of going with that and giving it time to strengthen their relationship Paro wants a fairly tale... yet wouldn't accept it.
I may be able to even bring myself to sympathize with this aspect of her but what really has started to annoy me is that she chooses to listen to every crap Laila has to say instead of shutting her up. Its always Rudra that gives her a tongue lash.
Laila says some crap and Paro starts hyperventilating. This doesn't seem to be the same sorted girl who claims not to be threatened by Laila's presence. Any idiot with a pair of eyes can see that Laila is still into Rudra while Rudra is as aloof as he can be with any living creature.
Also whats with the men in the Ranawat haveli? Do the so called elders of house have nothing to say to Laila? Why cant Dilsher, who at any given time has the sharpest of tongues, tell Laila to watch it? Does the lack of television in the Ranawat haveli really create such a desperate atmosphere for entertainment???
I wish the writer would choose a more realistic way of getting Rudra to realise his feeling without Dal- chawal talk!! Why do we always have to go to the obsolete way of story telling???
