totally second your thoughts... although my heart goes out for paro but rudra is not at fault here.. he has always been quite vocal about the demons residing inside him... he has never hidden the grey shades in his character... the reason he didnt want to be married to paro coz she had no idea of the darkness inside his heart... infact i feel a bit sad at the silent treatment she is giving him... but again she also is a human after all😊
this was a much needed confession coz now paro knows rudra is a human not some god with no flaws 😊
First, THANK YOU for understanding this point...it seems lost on most people in this forum sadly.
A truly well written scene, well enacted scene strikes you so hard that you aren't able to take sides very easily...and for me processing this episode took time...my first reaction to Paro's heartbreak was sadness for her...then as she moved on to giving him the silent treatment, I couldn't help but feel worse for Rudra seeing all the attempts he was making to talk to her and her just not even looking at him...with time, as the episode sunk in more, I just ended up feeling so bad for BOTH these heartbroken individuals in the moment...they are both feeling so adrift in this moment...Paro because her entire belief system is shaken, her FAITH has shaken...the faith she had in Rudra that seemed so immovable...now finding out a new side to him that she didn't know was possible, she is struggling to process, to understand.
And Rudra...he never asked to be put on a pedestal...in his own eyes, he is the worst possible manhoos person...he never asked for it but he couldn't help but get ATTACHED to Paro's devotion for him...he started to depend on it, count on it...for her to be there for him no matter what...now he's had a HARD fall from grace in her eyes...he never wanted this woman to look at him like he's a hero, a God...cuz in his own eyes he's a poisoned hopeless soul...but she gave him that status...and now to have to see the same eyes not even LOOKING at you...how that must hurt.
They are both hurting so much right now...very sad situation overall...but it is also an opportunity for them to truly start to understand each other...this is a test of both their faiths...Paro's being the more obvious one...and Rudra's subconscious faith in her...how they find their way back to each other is what remains to be seen.
