The Good:
1) Rudra finally talking about his demons in detail...the way the darkness grew inside him steadily...the way he first craved silence and darkness and then later that very silence threatened to choke him so he started to look for other ways in which to drown his emotions, himself out.
This was the standout scene. Ashish was just too good, my heart broke, for both Rudra and Paro here, especially when he was telling about how the best inside him had eaten him up . And i am glad that he told everything with a heavy voice, no self pity expressed, no expectations, no desires, just an honest and a despair confession.
Yes it was only his ''Jarurat" , i loved that single moment.
2) Paro getting jolted out of her dreamworld for the first time when starkly being explained that NEED and LOVE can be two different things...for the first time the innocent, starry-eyed look she generally carries in her eyes was gone.
Finally, so glad that she has felt hurt, and she reacted like a human. I could understand that she would mistake his and laila's fling as his love for laila, and she did take it in that way. Paro is still very naive to understand the fling, for her love has always been a divine invention and sex should come after that. Yes Paro now you have regained your position, the claims that he should open up to you and let it go, and see how the aftermath proved to be extremely opposite, thats why he had always claimed that how ugly his past was and that how nobody can resolve that. Good that the worship will vanish now, just face the flawed human, and now just gather your feelings that did you love the same man ? or did you just have the IDEA that you loved the man and nothing against him can lessen your love and trust. I loved the silent treatment, because that hurted Rudra the most and he is still in a state of shock that actually Paro had given him such a treatment, which was very much unexpected from his POV.
3) Finally someone remembered the 8 vows...lol that being Paro...waah what a convenient time, Paro...when he was threatening you with the vows first time, then you never processed...now you feel betrayed...amazing.
This part worried me Anu. becaus eto be honest, the only vow she remembered was that " tujhe koi khushi nahi doonga ", so i believe she thought that major saab is still intact with his vows and living with them ? And to add up to, it showed that she felt betrayed, and that means once again there is a huge misunderstanding and miscommunication because his relationship with laila was not certainly opened up because he wanted to betray her. I was confused here, if she would not remember the vows then i would catch the breakdown as the heartbreak and hurt she faced, but the vows made it more complex. and the scene did not leave any impact at all, moreover the flashbacks had bloopers because paro definitely does not remember the jaipur kiss. so for me this scene was a 😕😕
4) The courage it took Rudra to lay this out without mincing words...the hope somewhere inside him that Paro will forgive him as she always does.
He was very straightforward, and thankfully he was. and best part was that he had taken laila's name only once, only once, everything was just about him, how HE suffered, how HE comitted, how HE was a beast, and he did not blame Laila. Can i say i love him so much because of this, he really did not blame laila even once for their past affair, he took it on him, and that shows how he is not doing a damage control to save his ass, but he has just revealed himself , his ugliness, no matter how Paro has taken it. And yes, good that he also ensured Paro that once he had left jaipur, laila stalked him.
The not so good
1)Plenty of Laila smirky monologues again.
everything was at mute. i did not bother to listen. Ankita has a pretty face, but her being creepy onscreen just ruined it for me, and moreover, i just hate laila now, for her creepiness.
2)The most horrible...that hug in the end...I don't get why Rudra didn't instantly push her away...is it because she may have been implying that he loves her but he actually was thinking he loves Paro?😕
Exactly, at first i was also thinking that WTH, Rudra just push her away, she was tightly hugging him and suffocating him more. He was in no mood to do a arguement, he was feeling numb at a point. But Anu I think he did not shove her away because he was absorbing it, yes he was just absorbing that does he really love laila ? because after Paro asked him about him loving laila he had instantly said a NO, but her walking away without listening to him fully gave him a jhatka that Paro took his sexual fling as an outcome of his love affair. So i think either he was really absorbing the feeling that does laila's tears and now even her touch makes any difference, or is he just suffocated with her proximity ? and Before he could gather it unfortunately Paro came there, Rudra cannot and will not give any justification.
Paro is very much in character, she has always believed in what she has seen and heard, used her thoughts less, so i dont blame her if she thinks that Laud are having an affair. I will just feel sad if she regrets lateron, because her divine beliefs are at stake and later she might just worship him even more.😕
3)And the stuff of nightmares...the precap...with Laila talking about why she is the perfect match for Rudra as in being the flame that fuels the fire within him while Paro is the moth that burns when it gets too close to the fire...and Paro's expressions don't reassure me one bit.
yes, the worst precap ever.
Paro looking at Laila, Rudra looking at Paro and i am looking at Rudra. It was horrible, and laila was sobbing, Paro was obbing too, Rudra is just looking at Paro with a blank sight, just seeing that how much she is possibly hurt and how he is unable to feel anybody's words now. Gosh i don't want Rudra to become a stone again, so much that his hurt remains hidden, especially from Paro.
The sacrifice track seems impending *headdesk*
Some reality checks for both Rudra and Paro today...For Rudra, the realization that someone matters enough for him to put his demons on display like that...for Paro, the fact that all her claims of divine rights and laws may have just been her over-enthusiasm...
I am just happy that Paro got a reality check, people jumped on me , mocked me when i kept screaming that Paro does not know him, and even understand the slightest and simplest layer of him. People thought i was bashing her. and look what happened tonight ? understanding, worship, trust ( which she claimed she has for Rudra to maithili ) everything got away, atleast temporarily. I have constantly told that its easy when we claim that our life, jaan, motive is just one person, but its a hard reality that when we claim something we do it without any knowledge.
Rudra was too numb Anu, it scared me, i expected him to burst out but he galloped and swallowed everything with those blank eyes.
It's sad to see a Rudra so guilty...very ironic considering this is exactly he told Paro all along...that she doesn't know the real him and she won't be able to handle the darkness of him, his past...yet when the time has come, Rudra himself is so guilty and hurt...and Paro for her part who claimed to love him unconditionally, claimed that he was her soulmate by divine right... is also shunning him and giving him the silent treatment when the truth finally got revealed.
Its more ironic to see that he expected that she would come within a sec and forgive him, he really expected that ? Ohh godd, and the forum though he does not give her any rights, he is bipolar and he is doing a damage control. Major saab always just stands true to his character. I love it when i have to justify the complexities behind his actions, because i love to do that, thats what makes him so inetersting.
Anu i think he was more hurt because he has hurt Paro, and he was just reviving in his mind that he knew after all this Paro will not claim what she claimed in past, but still one corner of his heart expected the positive aftermath, but yes his silence showed that he does not blame paro, he himself knew that all the worship would get washed away.
