I am still clueless as to why the Tejawat track and along with that Mala was made to vanish? Wasn't the taskari of weapons and the mother-related conflicts supposed to be the broad story. Uska toh naam aur nishaan hi nahi hai ab

Yes...only a sensible story with a smart screenplay can add to the beauty of PaRud and thus the show.

This was to mainly accommodate Laila. Something like dancing you heart out should be when the most unbelievable things happen.

Remember the scene where Paro runs to the Shiv Mandir when Varun (Even if he was a world class kameena) tells her about their life together. When she heard something she has always dreamt off being promised to her by her then to be husband (From her POV) those are instances when you go all out and do such crazy things

Being an optimist does not mean that you fail to recognize what's working/harming the show 😉

On to the topic, RR is not working, at all.

Thankyou for not mincing words 😉

I don't know how to explain it but there is nothing in the show that will prompt me to wait eagerly for the next episode, and tune in without fail. The writers change tracks at the blink of an eye. If you see successful shows like SNS, DABH, YRKH wagera wagera (Yes, yes, I know you all are rolling your eyes, even I can't stand these shows guys, but they do rock the TRP charts) is they stuck with their original plot line, and the numbers just followed, they weren't super hits from the moment they started airing.

I completely and 100% Agree... I clealry remember when DABH which is currently the number one show on TV climbed the stairs of success slowly and steadily. I remember watching an interview of the producers Mittals where they said that the reason for the success of the show according to them is the fact that they stuck to showing what they believe that actually show something for the sake of TRP's and it's that it was their belief that something that came out from the heart would defo touch chord with the audience and the result is there for all to see. I am not saying RR is DABH, or they should follow the same foot steps no...but the basics toh sabke liye ek hi hai...which is the need of a strong storyline and working the subplots around it.

That is why I feel its imperative to stick with the vision you have. RR gives me the feeling of a headless chicken running to and fro, they change tracks without even giving it time to properly develop, characters go missing for no rhyme or reason, no explanation given for anything, storyline is so stupid it feels like writers think their audience is composed of moronic retards.

And sadly that is the truth...ST seriously should look for better writers, who can bring about the much needed change. Just having a Rajasthan Backdrop which is not even there any more and actors who can deliver really well can never hold the fortress up

Its a big royal mess right now. And if they don't pull up their socks then no matter how pretty or wonderful the leads are, or how crackling their chemistry is, the show won't last long. Content is after all, always king.

👏 👏 👏 👏 There you said it all in that one last line

I am sure we all are allowed to express our views here dear.
😊

I feel these last two weeks especially after the jaipur track, the storyline is a bit cliched...the execution of the scenes is good and Parud scenes are the saving grace...but the plots after the jaipur track are common in many tv soaps and quite below average...

Eg..the laddoo poisoning, illogical explanation by the doctor, the actual culprit mohini escaping, saas-mistress evil schemes.

Hope RR returns to its uniqueness!

Agree to each and every word

I still don't think RR is a sinking ship, but I admit, since Jaipur the show has been meandering A LOT and not in a good way. It is the sudden jerkiness of tracks that is really hurting the show. Immediately after Jaipur came the laddoo track. Then comes Laila. There's no connect because the CVs aren't allowing us to and because of the rush of tracks, the other characters are sidelined.

Someone should send this to ST, GH & the PH in the hope that they might read this. I sympathize with them because they & Colors desperately want the TRPs, but now's the time to get back to good and consistent story telling.

I still have hope for RR though because I am drawn into the show everyday and I still enjoy it. No other show on TV (English or Indian) has this effect on me like RR does. I'm hoping that the new promo offers some new and interesting storytelling that will make everyone happy.

I read somewhere that the Programming Head of Colors said that this year Colors would beat Star Plus when it comes to Fictional Shows...I wish they knew that none of the SP shows changes tracks on a whim and that is the reason that today 7 out of 10 top shows are from SP.

I would love to make comparisons on the statistics but since it's against the forum rules, I'll just let it be but one thing is sure that changing tracks because it is not working and waiting for that one track when the audience will give the green light will not work in the long run.😭

Fingers crossed.

The biggest issue that I have had with this show is the story, which they seem to have lost since Tejawat left. Since then there has been no story whatsoever. Only a small number of tracks like the Jaipur track have worked. The other tracks... erm..!!

Very much true😊

It has so much potential and a fab star cast, they just need to stick to what they want to show and trps may just follow.

Koi ST ko samjhaye.

I'm actually really scared for this show and hope the sinking ship can be saved!! But the question is can it be saved now or is it too late??

I believed it can be saved, the entire team is working hard, they just need to shift focus on what will truly work for RR

Hope so...but its not the time slot that is the problem...Competition is there everywhere, if RR can deliver then they will definitely make a mark on the charts

Exactly...they need to buck up...after falling in love with these character even if fictional, it would be hard to get over them and that too just because there was no proper story 😭

9 to 10 is the best time slot any show can possibly ask for
kbc , BB most ambitious project air at this time , there are two reasons
1. an average indian household TV is generally on during that time
2. no restriction in terms of viewer profile , women , men , children anyone can watch at that time slot
