Don't have much to say but want to give a special mention to Sanaya hence the post.
Laila track still feels contrived, her actions don't make sense, even her throwing chilli powder in poor Paro's eyes is not the action of a smart, cunning woman. A cunning woman would realize the implications of such an action and so would avoid taking it. Here Laila is simply acting out of jealousy...she is useless. Yes she may bring Parud closer ultimately, but in any case she gets so much screen space she should at least make herself worth watching. I cringe watching this woman, does she really think she can get close to Rudra by bumping into him in filmy style? Give me a break.
The dance was also very contrived and unnecessary. Yes we got to see Sanaya showing off her dancing skills, and that was nice to see , but it was not crucial to the episode story in any way. As for that Parud scene we received (the bedroom one)...all I can say is that I miss Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat. Paro calls him this but I don't know where the Major has gotten lost. All I see is a husband who gives in very easily to his wife. I miss the passion and intensity Parud shared, and while these husband-wife moments are cute, they just aren't cutting it. And frankly they aren't what we were promised anyway. Where is the angst, the inner turmoil, the insecurities Rudra possesses? The husband Rudra is being right now is nothing special, I can watch any other Indian drama and see the same type of man on-screen. In the beginning of the episode when he jumped up and told Laila to get out, I thought the Rudra we know is back, but he mellowed down so quickly after his initial reaction...it was so unlike Rudra...the Rudra we know would go through with his words. If he said get out that means GET OUT! Didn't he throw Paro out in anger? Why can't he do the same to Laila, and he doesn't even like Laila? The creators/writers are compromising Rudra and Paro's characterization for the sake of the story. I don't know what else to say.
And now for the special mention I wish to give to Sanaya, the saving grace in this episode...Laila throwing chilli powder on Paro would not have evoked any feelings of anger or hatred in me if it had not been for Paro's heart breaking reaction. Sanaya nailed it, I felt Paro's pain and confusion and fright in that scene, I wanted to cry along with her. It truly felt/looked like Paro/Sanaya had chilli powder in her eyes. Wow. Just wow. All I want to do is scratch Laila's eyes out - again, not because she is a good villian, but because it's unbearable to see Paro in that kind of pain. Sanaya you outdid yourself đ
The precap was interesting, but it didn't peak my interest too much, because we all know that Laila is going to get away with what she's done or that even if Rudra suspects her for hurting Paro, he still won't throw her out...all for the sake of the story. God when is this Laila track going to finish?? It's becoming unbearable now. Hope we at least get to see Rudra pampering Paro...but that too I think about with caution, because again Laila will get jealous seeing Rudra pampering his wife...and then what will she do?? Get more haldi?? Geez this woman is so forced and stupid.
