LOL yes, Ashish had to go through some auditions before he got this part and people make it sound like that somehow puts him beneath the STAR of this showđ...so apparently it's a great thing if you never have to audition for a show...and ppl who audition are then beneath youđ
yes that exactly was a reply to my post in one of the threads where i supported him, and i was told that he has been secondary to the cast without any star value. i was like ok, umm, thats IF.. to be honest i was disheartened, to read the comment. but now when i am watching the initial episodes, i am like WTH. if being secondary to the cast means you are the central role of the show, then thank god Ashish is the one. kudos to the writers, who still understands that popularity is a matter of perception, in tv nothing is popular as such, either your talent speaks or it doesn't. I am happy for both sanaya and ashish that their work is being appreciated.
I think Ashish's TALENT has spoken for itself...you can't hide talent no matter how many stars are around...talent shines brightest...slowly but surely he's made such an IMPACT purely with the strength of his talent and hardworkđ...his commitment to his craft, his characterđ
i can give you a very good example, Rajkumar rao. who was second fiddle in kai po che, and people touted Sushant to be the star, but Rajkumar is flooded with offers and yes his national award.
so yes moral of the story is, noone can steal your thunder when you prove your talent. Donno about fate of RR, but i will hope in near future Ashish gets worthy shows and such amazing roles, he deserves them. and its just his 4th year, i thing he is still a new entrant, and RR is his first big show.
I remember the scene you're talking about and yes that was a brilliant confrontation b/w Tejawat and Rudra...my point was simply that Rudra has more layers as a character, especially vulnerable ones and that fine balance that Ashish walks in portraying those layers is what impresses me.
Rudra's character induces a logical thinking from the viewers, thus the character shines. he still remains to be as mysterious as he always was, the layers are slowly being remove done by one, still the interest never falls off. Ashish must have done a lot of homework for the character seeing the complexity. and trust me, i do find similarities with othello. infact many similarities.
well Ashish prefers macbeth from shakepear's characters, coincidentally thats my fav character of shakespear too.
