Now what has Mother Nature got to do with this show?? 😃...getting to it...
First and foremost loved loved, the episode!! It was tightly scripted, perfectly enacted, and crisply edited. Good job cvs...now we stop meandering aimlessly and move on with the track. I know I shouldn't hope high, but still hoping to see them not lose their grip on the story again (at least for a while)!!
The performances were superb, nuanced and very fine. Ananyaji is a gem!! Yes, plenty find her OTT, but for me she works!! She is a fantabulous actress 👏! And Rudra was bang on!! Not an expressions wasted, not a dialogue extra. Business like, to the point. None of the characters were drifting. Each doing what had to be done to perfection, in harmony!!
Some scenes were epic, Rudra standing in front of the car, KCM's expressions, her hand gesture asking him to move away then, Sumer's weakness...all were too good!! Loved Rudra in action. He was totally calm and collected!! No signs of his famous temper!! But then, he was not surprised, nope, he knew her too well for that. He didn't even bat an eye. And the reason for his silence...he was piecing the puzzle, knowing that the two simple women combined won't be able to match his Kaaki Sa's cunning. TIme and again I have felt that they are a perfect match...this maasi, bhanja duo. She diabolically cunning and he ruthlessly smart. (yes, I know the cvs tend to forget that at times)!! It feels so good to see them pitted against each other, battle of the titans, both capable of reading the other beautifully 😃!! And somehow have a feeling that both are cut out from the same cloth, just one difference, one good, the other bad...Time and again I have felt that Rudra is more like his Maasi than any of her sons. 😉!!
And about ...no mother can do this to her own...err...whom are we kidding?? 😆 Of course, there are moms and dads out there, who gladly throw their kids under the bus, if it helps them in any which way!! We know quite a few bad moms and bad dads in our society..just reflect!!
And nature has plenty of such parents, who actually go to the extent of devouring their own for multiple reasons. Ranging from polar bears, to beetles, to lizards, to fishes...its all about them you see. They think about themselves, save their skins, their lives...the rest is immaterial!! Its about their wants, their needs, their survival and desires...what's not natural here??
And no...I doubt if Mohin will let her son stay in custody for long. You see she cares for him, but not more than herself. She comes first, the rest are a convenience. He needs to take the blame for now, but she wont rest till she gets her chamcha back. And m sure that this woman will blame Rudra and Paro for her son's criminal career, conveniently forgetting her contribution to the same. And will work doubly hard to avenge him, finding one more reason for hate. Of course, in the mean while, will find a way to get her son out, tears or tantrums, whatever works!!
P.S. How this affects Samrat and Sumer will be worth a watch 😛!!

Eve...well written post as usual..!
However I am not so sure that mohinis actions are justifiable within her own character sketch!

She wanted Rudra and Dilsher out because she supposedly wanted the business and house for her children...she said that many times...then sacrificing her son so readily seems against the purpose!

It was a last minute desperate measure to save herself true...but even so she doesn't know if she will be believed or if the reaction will b any different from the family when they think Sumer is the culprit and not her! How would she get him out of trouble...she hasn't thought it through..if it was a well though out plan it's still ok!

However more than what Mohini did I would be surprised if anyone least of all Rudra believes that Sumer has the brains to plan all these elaborate schemes...and clearly Mohini was the one who mAde the laddoos atleast so hope someone remembers that!

Agree and how.

The episode was surprisingly good. I just hope they don't get high on the praise and get slack again. This pace, and the crispness, needs to continue.
Btw, the vacancy for Stop-wa was just taken up by Mohini today.😆

Well said 👏

Ananya is a superb actress and an integral part of the story

It surprises me how people are alwYs willing to ask the CVs how dare you, without any deep thought (today's example is where KvM twists it to blame Sumer). The attitude is surprising, or should I say shocking !!!

I actually felt really sorry for Sumer today, his face actually looked like he was hit by a bus!

And hope Samrat finally see some sense and learn to trust his wife a little bit. Every other character other than Samrat and Sunehri is doing great. CVs, why waste just the 2 of them?

Lovely post, eveline :-)

Today's epi belonged mainly to Mohini...I was actually pleasantly surprised when they didn't just reduce Rudra to a showpiece and actually showed him using his brains to catch Mohini.

Paro set things in motion but Rudra finished the job...good teamwork there.

I loved the expression you used for Mohini and Rudra as a perfect match...one diabolically cunning and the other ruthlessly smart...yes sadly the writers tend to switch off Rudra's smarts from time to time but today they surprised me pleasantly on that front.

One of my fav. portions in the epi was the bit where Rudra calmly pours water for Mohini and asks her to confess...and Mohini shooting him VENOMOUS looks in response...brilliant these two actors are in facing off against each other👏...Interesting point too about Rudra being more like his Maasi than her own sons...lol well he's definitely inherited some of her shrewdness but I guess his own mother's goodness balances him out.

On a technical front the epi was quite well balanced...with loopholes being closed up, Mohini's cunning on full display, Rudra getting to show his smarts in a calm manner without exploding...lol...I really laughed when Mohini threw Sumer under the bus...not surprising coming from her as you said...

Only thing I'm BEYOND sick of is LADDOOS now...SO much laddoo talk for so many epis and even tomorrow's precap has LADDOOS *headdesk*

Glad to see Dilsher back though...and with Laila coming back soon too, things should take an interesting turn...today they closed a lot of loose ends so it seems like they are getting ready to switch gears to hopefully more intense epis.

Yes, Mohini will put the blame on RP again for Sumer's plight if he ends up going to jail and conveniently forget her part in it...remains to be seen what she plans next and if she's really effective in that.

My God Eveline... you said it perfectly. I won't add a thing. No need to.
I am also very glad that they have finally gotten back to pitting Rudra against kaki sa. They are opponents in this fight. You analysis was perfect. ⭐️

You know what I have seen time and again, is that Rudra looses his cool and all his reasoning abilities only when Paro is concerned. Either when its about her protection, his interactions with her or if he somehow thinks she is responsible for something. But while dealing with others he very composed and every inch the trained soldier that he is! Even if that is regarding an attempt to his own life!

And Very good post!

Hi Evie dear...how are you?
It's been awhile I visited the forum and lucky me ...found your post 😉...coming back to RR, I have seen too many parents sacrificing their children for their own selfish reasons. They are sociopaths to the greatest extreme and so I wasn't surprised at what Mohini did at all...she is a criminal first and that too with no commitments or morals...it's surprising but there are criminals who has some sense of morality too.

Coming to Rudra/Paro...it seems an illusion for me...the whole Jaipur track...sooner or later it's going to come to an end. I am not a religious person, so I just cannot relate to Paro's deal with the Almighty...I am completely lost and disappointed with this current track. I read somewhere that Laila is coming back and will land in their house...right there the cvs are playing with fire I think. The last thing I want to see is Rudra committing adultery to push Paro away. That will be just unacceptable. I am getting nostalgic with the show I am not allowed to mention...there the male lead was ruthless, arrogant, hurtful but never committed adultery. I truly hope that they keep Rudra the same way. Adultery is something just unforgiving.

Write to sometimes Evie.

Priyanka
