Once a girl-next-door was asked a simple question - "What kind of love are you looking for?"
The girl replied " I want the kind of love that gives an ocean a feeling of inferiority. I want the kind of love that is so deep and so intense that once someone dives in it, he cannot find his way out. I want a love so stringent and stationary that in the storm , in the sun, in the rain, it stays same. I want the kind of love that the world thinks is suicidal and stupid but secretly dreams of it under covers of the night. I want the kind of love that whenever he looks at me, his soul would want to plunge out of his body and merge with mine. I want the kind of love that wouldn't whimper even if the last piece of my flesh was shredded and given to the winds if that would breathe life into him. I want the kind of love that assures him that I am watching over him as he sleeps. I want the kind of love that is so overwhelming that if he looks at me for too long, his eyes glaze with tears. I want the kind of love that only knows how to give and forgive. I want the kind of love that understands that there is only one person in this bond- him. I want the kind of love that never lets me forget that his needs and his life are more important than mine. I want the kind of love that people would write stories about someday and wish upon a star. I want the kind of love that becomes a soul memory for him, so that even when am gone , he feels me next to his skin and in the rhythm of his heartbeat. I want the kind of love that equals the mystery and magic of the universe...and , just so that you know. I am not looking for love. I am love. He is looking for me and in his own time, in sync with our written tale of destiny, he will come looking for me."
And they knew at that moment, that even though she was a girl-next-door, the love that she was capable of was not what you could find next door.
