What a fantastic OS , I loved the torture you gave to Rudra and I loved it when he kissed her on forehead( it would have been scandalizing for Paro if the kiss was on her lips) but more than that I loved his desire to give her a love bite, oh fantastic. Please continue writing more on this story.
Good work
Take care

True! She is very much his. They are a couple made in heaven, and are destined to be with each other, pretty much like their namesakes.

But then, we should not forget Rudra's inhibitions. He wants her around, but he is not ready to acknowledge this need. He's as stubborn as they come. His concern for her well being will any day supersede all other things.

Don't worry though. Paro will make sure that he will one day give her the happiness she has envisioned for the two of them. He will very much love her and gladly scream it out on BSD headquarters roof tops. The day will definitely come- but for now, like Paro, we need to be patient. 😆

Thank you for your insight and review! 🤗

La douleur exquise indeed!! How apt!!!

I loved so many things about this piece of beautiful writing...

The nightmare - speaks volumes of his inner fear that he may lose her, that she would literally slip away.

The way you described his feelings, his frustration and his craving for her..lovely!! Totally empathising with Rudra...😆

Also loved her instant concern for him, overriding any other emotions and desires..very in keeping with Paro's character..

I like the way you wrote about his inner voice... I have tried it myself in one of my OSes..i love writing about a struggling-to-emerge, soft Rudra, battling with his other side..the hard, unforgiving one...this inner conflict has so much scope and i love the way writers seem to be exploring this..

These are my favorite parts from your OS.
And I hope that you wouldnt mind that I took the liberty of adding my vishesh tippanis in blue font...

Such a lovely start to a Sunday morning...loving it!!

Do let me know if you have written anything else previously, that i mightve missed..
And also please do write more in the future,,,it is a pleasure to read your work!!

PS: in case it was not clear, my likey lots and me reviewed extensively!!!

🤗🤗

I cried actual tears of joy when I read your review! 😆 I still have this creepy grin that I'm unable to wipe off. 😃 I'm really really glad you liked the OS.

Haha, yes Rudra's predicament is sort of sad. I gave him a mental hug for putting him through that. 😆 And Paro... Oh she's a darling alright. Patni-Dharm is her top priority, but Pati-Nighmare-struggle tops even that. 😆

To answer one of your vishesh tippanis, yes, I will be writing a continuation of sorts where he will more than belong! 😆

Oh and I've written Fics before, but they were all Arnav-Khushi. This is my first in Rang Rasiya. 😆

Loved your vishesh tippanis, btw! I likey you more now, cause you likey Sherlock. 😆

Lastly, thank you so much for taking your time to drop in a review that absolutely made my day.

Love,
Sonata24

Why, hello again! 🤗

So I was really really happy for every review & like received for this OS. A very very special thank you to every one of you Reviewers/Likers/Readers of this OS. You have ensured I wrote another part to this.

One special thank you to What_The, for I have grinned 48 hrs non-stop just remembering her review.

I missed the entire week's Rangrasiya, courtesy the extended hours at work. Holed myself up in my room all of Saturday watching them episodes and spiraled into depression at the fact that Laila is back with good intentions paving the road to PaRud hell. Damn you gurl!

And while you read this, I shall catch up on the last 100 pages on the forums. Haven't visited for so long I'm almost lost. 😳

So go on my dears... Read and remember to review, for I love you! 😆

___________________________________________________________

Rudra carefully entered the threshold of his bedroom peeking around, stepping in like a mischievous 8 yr old trying to escape punishment. His eyes quickly scanned the room. No sign of her.

Once he knew the coast was clear, Rudra bolted the door and let out a heavy sigh. Last night, was a torture beyond anything he had ever experienced. The more he thought about it, the more embarrassed he felt at the betrayal of his body. His stay in the veranda for the rest of the night hadn't really helped. Though he could think more clearly, he had to fight this tormenting urge to rush back into his room and scoop his wife up in his arms.

Rudra now ran a hand through his hair nervously. It wasn't supposed to happen this way! He was strong enough to control his senses! But then, He had kissed her on the forehead! How was he to face her now?

Well then you SHOULDN'T , a voice in his head suggested. It's not really helping your case looking at her, is it? Rudra had to agree with this. Perhaps this weird heaviness in his chest would go away if he didn't see her for while. Yeah, that must be it Rudra conceded, refusing to acknowledge the ridiculousness of his logic. And so it was decided that He, Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat would be avoiding his wife as much as he could.

Paro stood by the stove, making aloo gobi sabzi. His favorite she thought, smiling. She happily anticipated the blessed moment when he would be seated at the table for breakfast. She would lovingly serve him roti & aloo gobi twin, and wait for the approving nod and the appreciative-but barely audible humm's at every bite. Having eagerly awaited the moment, Paro was quite unprepared for the bit of information Kakusa gave her as she arrived at the breakfast laden table. He had already left for work.

Disappointment weighed heavily on her heart even as she told herself that it wasn't a big deal. Perhaps Singh Sir had called him on an important errand? Before she could dwell further on the topic however, Kakisa screamed out at her to help Mythili in some useless chore. Sighing heavily, Paro resigned to another day's toil, thoughts of her husband staying at the forefront of her mind.

Rudra had been completely convinced that not looking at his wife would perhaps reduce the almost animalistic craving he felt to hold her in his arms, and perhaps find a reason to stroke her pearl smooth skin. He had never been more wrong.

Every small thing around him seemed to remind him of Paro. At the moment he sat reading a report, tracing a long finger along the lines to help him focus. His mind chose this moment to compare the ivory white sheet and it's similarity to Paro's creamy white skin. His fingers stopped tracing the sheet at once.

Minutes passed in an agonizingly slow pace and Rudra tested his own self control by staying back later than usual. A risky move, he now realized. Because by the time he left the headquarters, all Rudra wanted to do was pin Paro down on the bed and kiss her every way possible. Rudra let out a low growl, urging his motorbike to take him home already. In his haste to reach home, he turned around a bend of the road too fast and skid promptly over the gravel. Almost ashamed at having lost his mind over a girl, Rudra angrily got back on his bike and rode back at a cautious speed his palms stinging and smarting for having scraped over rough gravel. A punishment for losing his mind over a beautiful woman.

Paro sat by the sweetly chiming fountain, hugging herself, cheek resting on her arm. He was later than usual. Her heart ached to see him, her eyes craved to trace the austere eyebrows, the alluring molten brown eyes, the sculpted jaw, the aristocratic nose, the proud moustache, and those seductive lips. Since he hadn't had his breakfast this morning, she had made a childish pact with herself to make sure he had his dinner tonight that she had specially made for him. She wanted to hear him sigh in contentment when he thought she wasn't listening. But where was he?! It was late. Far too late.

Rudra finally reached the haveli and got off his bike wincing in pain. The minute he got off, something collided into his body with a force that almost made fall backwards. Gaining his balance quickly, he looked down to see Paro's head buried in his chest, her hands fisted in on uniform.

All the hot pulsing anger he had felt until mere seconds ago, left his body in one instant as worry seized him. He forcefully pulled her chin up to face him.

"Paro tu teek hai? Kya hua?!" He asked her. Paro unable to respond, just stared up into his eyes with her own tear filled ones. The sight of tears in her eyes, made his insides go cold. He cupped her face delicately in his hands, thumbs wiping off the tears at the corners of her eyes trying to fight the anxiety rearing up. "Paro? Kya hua? BOLNA PARO, TU TEEK HAI?" Rudra asked with urgency in his voice as his eyes checked her out, looking for any sign of bodily harm

"Jee, hum teek hai" Paro responded in a strained voice. She took his hands in his hands in her own "Aap itne der kyun lagadi, manne laga ki aap-..." she stopped mid sentence.

Her hands that had been stroking the inside of Rudra palms had found a fresh scrape. She looked down into his palms and her eyes widened. The tears came unbidden "Major Saab aapke haath mein chott kaisi lagi?!" She almost screamed.

"Wo... Kuch nahi.. bas.. thodasa karoch hai. Mein teek hoon Paro" He insisted looking at the worry on her beautiful face. Without another word, Paro proceeded to drag him inside with all the strength she could muster.

She sat him down on the nearest chair and immediately rushed off to get the first aid box that usually saw to her treatment at Rudra's hands. She was back within minutes, and she immediately went about nursing his bruised palms. Rudra was quite surprised at how correctly she managed the ministrations, first wiping off the wound with water soaked cotton and then cleaning the wounds with the anti-septic.

Rudra lost himself looking at her as she sat carefully bandaged his hands with cotton gauze.

"Aur kahin chot lagi?!" Paro asked him softly and he willingly showed her his right elbow. Paro bit her lip trying to choke back a tiny sob. His elbow had worse scrapes than his palms. She quickly went about nursing the wound while Rudra sat still, memorizing the features of her beautiful face.

"Ek minute yahin pe bhaitiye" she said and hurried off. She was back within minutes, with plate laden with food that smelled absolutely divine. It made Rudra's stomach growl and if Paro heard it, she gave no indication of it. She led him over to the dinner table and after seating him comfortably, she stood in front of him and started to feed his dinner.

"Paro mein khud khasaktha hoon" Rudra mumbled, wanting her to stop and continue at the same time.

"Jee manne pata hai. Lekhin philhaal aapke haath mein chott lagi hai, na? Manne khilane dhijiye" Paro told him gently, concern lacing her voice.

Paro finished feeding Rudra, and picked up the dishes to be put away. "Aap aaram khijiye kamare mein, hum bas abhi aate hain" Paro said smiling slightly at Rudra. Rudra nodded his head in accent and started heading towards his room when he heard a crash of vessels and a gasp of pain.

Paro, who had turned away to head back to kitchen stumbled over the helmet Rudra had placed on the ground and to avoid falling down, she had turned on one foot and realized her mistake only too late. The dishes in her hand fell over with a resounding crash, as her hip bone hit the corner of the table that stood right beside. Paro gasped out at the shooting pain radiating all over her left waist. Within seconds, Rudra had grabbed her and turned her around as he half yelled at her in a panic-stricken voice "PARO KYA HUA?! TU TEEK HAI?!"

Paro bit her lower lip, trying to resist the urge to cry out in pain. Darn that table! she thought in agony.

Rudra saw the pained expression on Paro's face and his chest hurt in a kind of unknown anguish. He immediately softened his hold on her, and cupped her face with both hands. "Paro... mhaare taraf dekh" he called out to her softly. Paro finally opened her eyes, struggling to hold back the unshed tears threatening to spill out and she saw Rudra's face inches from her own.

As the tears rolled down, she could clearly see the pair of molten brown eyes swirling with unnamed and untamed emotions peering into her hazel ones. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to control the pain. "Chot kahan lagi Paro?" Rudra asked again, his voice thick with concern as his thumb stroked her face gently.

The pain slowly subsided and Paro came back to her surroundings. She realized Rudra was asking her something, so she looked back at him ignoring the now dulling throb in her left hip. She wished she hadn't.

Paro had always loved Rudra's eyes. They spoke volumes, but at the same time hid in them an ocean of secrets. It captured her and sent her into a tempting trance, one that she never wanted to break out of. It made her feel dazed and every single time she got lost in those eyes, she found something unraveling within herself. A primeval instinct for... something... She wasn't sure what, but there it was again! Tantalizingly close, yet so far.

Paro blinked rapidly for a few seconds, trying to clear the fog clouding her senses. The pain from the bruise a few seconds ago seemed insignificant as she tried to get her erratically beating heart to calm down. The soft strokes of Rudra's thumb only made it worse, as she felt her face heat up under his touch.

Rudra watched with concern as Paro first blinked rapidly for a few seconds, and then started taking deep breaths as color flooded her face. "Paro...?" Rudra called out to her again, trying to get her to respond to his query "Kahan lagi chott?"

Paro eyes widened. She was now completely red in the face, she was sure of that. Her heart beat quickened some more at the prospect of explaining her injury to the man who made her senses go out like fuse with just one touch. Bholenath could you have chosen a worse place for bruise?! Paro thought as she tried in vain to get her breathing back to normal.

Rudra by this time had almost lost it with the overwhelming anxiety he felt, and so he didn't quite catch Paro as she mumbled something. "Kya tha?" he asked bending further in, ears to her lips, trying to listen to what she was saying.

"Jee mhaare ko... kuch..nahi..hua" she mumbled again with effort.

"Paro.." Rudra said warningly, anger slowly seeping into his voice.

He wasn't going let it go, she knew. Not until he knew. So instead of answering him, Paro clutched her left hip, the pain registering under her hand again. In an instant Rudra knew why she was so hesitant to tell him about her injury. He was about to say something when Mythili walked in, having awoken at the sound of the dishes crashing to the floor.

"Devarji-sa? Paro? Kya hua? Sab teek hai?" Mythili asked the two of them with a worried voice, startling both Rudra and Paro.

"Kya hua? Yeh sab neeche kaise gira?" Mythily asked the couple, wondering what on earth could have caused the mess.

"Wo.. Paro..." Rudra started, wanting to tell Mythili about Paro's injury so that injury could be looked at and taken care of. He looked at Paro, about to go on when he stopped. She was eyeing him with a peculiar look on her face, the expression made him feel like he was being tested. Like one of those exams in BSD conducted to check a cadet's aptitude.

He looked back at Mythili's expectant face told her the first thing that came to his mind "Wo.. Paro thak gayi thi, aur galthi se giradiya... Shayad usko araam karni chahiye" he said, looking over at Paro.

Mythili asked Paro if she was okay, and after Paro answered in affirmative, Rudra spoke again "Mein Paro ko kamre mein lekhe chalta hoon..." Mythili who knew Paro was in good hands, only smiled, nodding at him to take her to their room.

Not minding his aching back Rudra picked Paro up in one quick motion ignoring her cries of protest. He cradled her securely in his arms, relishing the feeling and headed towards their room. Paro stopped struggling after a while and meekly submitted to it, for she knew struggling against him would only make matters worse. She involuntarily inhaled the fragrance that was so uniquely Rudra, and sighed softly.

Jallad She thought, smiling to herself.

Mythili stood watching as the couple vanished from her sight. "Ajeeb jodi..." she said to herself laughing slightly, and proceeded to put away the dishes that had littered the floor.

______________

As soon as Rudra reached their room, he gently placed Paro on the bed, ensuring that she lay down. He quickly crossed the threshold of their room and bolted the door shut. He then fished out a little bottle from their wardrobe and walked over to Paro in decided manner.

Paro who had been watching Rudra's every action, now gulped. She had just recognized the little bottle in his hand to be the pain relieving oil that had come handy several times. Was he going to apply the oil on the bruise...?!

Paro watched as Rudra sat down by her side and slowly opened the bottle, dabbed out a small amount of it to the fingers of his right hand. He placed the bottle on the table beside and only then did he look at Paro in the eyes.

"Kahan dard ho raha hai?" She heard him ask, his voice not betraying any emotion. His eyes had an unreadable quality to them and Paro was now trying rather hard to breathe normally.

Rudra knew he was freaking her out. But somewhere in the last few minutes he had made up his mind to repay her for having treated his injuries. It's what they did wasn't it? They would fill out each other's wounds with soothing medicine. Sometimes with words-rough & sweet, at others with caring hands.

"Paro.." Rudra said warningly again. She only started at him with wide eyes.

Rudra then did the only thing he could think of. Looking away from her eyes, he deftly loosened the knot on her lehenga with his left hand, and pulled the rim of the lehenga down by a few inches. With tremendous effort, he silenced the amorous thoughts of his wife that had started to creep in again at the sight of her beautifully cream colored waist. He wanted to help her before the thoughts that were threatening to consume him, did manage to consume him. Using every ounce of self-discipline and restraint Rudra had learned at BSD, he set his focus solely on the bluish mark that had bloomed on her left hip bone. Then, very slowly and very gently, he massaged the hip bone with his long fingers.

It had all happened so fast that Paro had no time to react. She felt blood rushing too fast all over her body. And when Rudra's fingers made contact with her skin on her hip, she felt herself falling rapidly into an abyss and any conscious thought left, vanished. All she could register was the intense ache that was starting to spread all over her body that had nothing to do with her bruise, but everything to do with the hand that treated it. She clutched hard at the side of her pillow and bit down hard on her lip trying to resist the urge to moan.

Rudra sat oblivious to the effect his fingers had on his wife, and continued to massage at the hip in an almost hypnotic state. He seemed to be entranced at the slightly protruding structure of the bone. The bluish mark upon the skin that covered it only seemed to emphasize the delicateness that was Paro...

So lost was he in applying the medicine on the bruise, that he did not notice Paro breathing heavily, her chest heaving and her back almost arching in pleasure. Rudra's innocent act had set off a fire within Paro that she wasn't quite sure how to douse. On and on his fingers massaged the bruised spot, increasing the pressure slightly with every stroke and Paro who had resisted enough, now let out a low drawn out moan that startled Rudra.

For one bewildered second Rudra thought he had applied too much pressure, but as his eyes carefully took in Paro's condition-realization dawned on him. Had he managed to turn on his sweet innocent wife?!

Just to be absolutely certain, Rudra placed this thumb on the bone, massaging it with a bit more pressure than he had used a while ago, his eyes watching out for her reaction.

The result was instantaneous. Paro arched her back and moaned louder at the sweet pleasure that attacked her mercilessly. Rudra, half tormented, half intrigued, and wholly aroused- repeated his action again and again, increasing the pressure and tempo of the massage.

Paro almost came undone, as an intense ache filled her like she had never known before. It felt like a fire was spreading all the way from her lower body, burning and scalding. Before she knew it, she called out for Rudra, somehow knowing that only he could help her quench that fire that threatened to consume her.

The pressure on her hip had increased the minute she had moaned out Rudra's name, and she moaned out even louder, almost pleading this time. "Rudra..."

The last thing she remembered was the pair of lips that captured hers before she went spiraling down into a pleasure filled insanity.

I know, I know...bohat der ho gayi!!
Sorry!!!!

This Rudra is sooo cute! He is scared and running away, finding refuge in balconies and slinking away to work, just to avoid his wife!
Bach ke kahaan jaayega...aana toh padega na waapis yahin?
He is confused by the alternately tender and powerful emotions that she is rousing in him...and his arguments with his inner voice are adorable!

Paro has finally seen hope this morning, when he gently kissed her on the forehead...and then he leaves without telling her...she should be upset, but she is not and keenly waits up for him...this was so sweet!
And she just throws herself in to his arms when he returns...he may have qualms about acknowledging his feeling for her, but Paro harbors no such thoughts..she just wants to be assured that he is ok...

All the tending to the wounds and ministrations of the hand...ab Rudra karta bhi to kya?
He just had to show his elbow to her, so she would continue... :)
And then he jumps at the chance to return the favour...

I love all the mesmerised, lost in each other's eyes moments...it's only a single moment perhaps...but you describe it so eloquently, it makes me go all ...sigh!!!!!

He scraped his elbow, she hurt her hip...but all's well that ends with a kiss..
😉

Hopefully this wasn't the end and we are going to get more...ummm...we really need to know what happens after that kiss!

Honestly (and I hope you don't mind me saying this), your writing style reminds me of myself..
I only wish my imagination was as good as yours!

Keep writing sweetie...

Love
Maya

PS: I don't know your name...should I call you Sonata?
