You know, there was a week in 2011 that felt like God listened to me, only me. That week, India beat Pakistan in the ICC ODI World Cup, in a brilliantly fought match ( with a nod at our Pakistani forum members here) , I got a job offer from my very first interview after being a stay-at-home mom for seven years, and on the weekend, India won the ICC ODI World Cup.
This week I felt the same way with RR. There was not even one false note. This week was epic. And let us remember it that way. I did not even grudge Rudra and Parvati the BNHH song, because they were true to its spirit and past associations ... those who followed QH will know what I am talking about.
I remember that beautiful gospel song, One Day At a Time, I think it was Mahelia Jackson. (Could be wrong).
So Friday... one day at a time! And we will have had a history making week. Not perhaps in terms of those 10000 odd people meters that speak for 500-700 million people, but in how it made us all feel.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the CVs for not letting Rudra smile, and not letting Paro look like a Zulfonwali Haseena with those mysterious seductive eyes until this week. Had they done that earlier, my weak heart would have given up by now!
