Well yes i know many wont agree with me on this but i want to speak out and take out my frustration...
Honestly I am not liking the currest track. It is nothing new but repeatation of old serials where a village girl is mocked and made fun off... somehow i would have prefered that it would have remainded as Rajasthani back drop and it's surroundings...

Didnot like this blending of modern era with traditional thing.

They chould have shown the ocasion in rajasthan... with traditional dance and all... I am sure they can defo made it more sensual in traditional way.

*though the dance was good.

But paro dancing western is so out of her character. and how can someone get the moves, the falls, the dips so right for the first time?

One thing they showed which i liked was Rudra taking lead but it would have been better if Paro was more and more subtle in the dance seq...

anyway i still think this track could have been avoided if given a choice.

I disagree with you .. Always being Rural do not give any chance to a show some modernity is necessary .. but yeah Paro's dance was a little bit off , she danced like a professional which was not matching much to her character ... but i like this track a lot!❤️

See I guess this is testing track whether RR may get more appreciation in a urban setting..
See paro is married to rudra now .. Who is in the army...BSD .. Army officers shift a lot very frequently.. They are seldom on one location for more than 3 years..
And army socials and party culture... Is very much there in every city and small town..
U may have seen army clubs in Dalhousie ,small tier cities but since they have a size able army folks.. They have clubs, which has swimming pools, tennis.. Everything that is available in modern cities..in fact most towns have clubs which are backed by the army..

Though paro learning to dance was out of ordinary.. The party and the setting is perfectly in sync..
I had quite a few army kids as friends in childhood.. Though they may have studied in Bareilly ..case priyanka chopra ...They lead a more modern life compared to us..

I respect your opinion but I disagree with you.

The track isn't about the settings or the differences between the modern and traditional settings. Yes, when the girls were being rude about Paro was uneccessary but this is an indian show and that scene was a typical scene that everyone shows anyway.

The track is about Rudra and Paro.

It's about how she is so naive, so innocent and that her only saviour and protector is Rudra.

The track isn't about keeping the traditional settings at all, it's about how Paro does not know much about life outside of her village and how it is Rudra, only him that is showing her, helping her try and feel comfortable in a new environment.

This track is a step forward for Parud.

Yes I agree Paro shouldn't have been a pro dancer but did you not see her facial expressions? The confusion of her feelings and the way she looked at Rudra. Her facial expressions showed exactly the traditional girl not understanding what her feelings are.

The essence of the dance was to show the possesivness, the underlying emotions and how much they are falling towards each other. The black and red clothing symbolises that. The dance wasn't to show the background or the ethnic settings of Paro and rudra. It was about there love, their step forward in their relationship.

When i was watching the whole sequence yesterday, i couldnt help but remember RR's very first promo,, how exotic n intense that was, with a hint of Rajasthani culture, and when i look at it now, there is not evn a single trace of how the makers initiated with the show,, they somehow lost the essence,, y are they running away from the very basic foundation,, i am sure if it were for something related to Rajasthani tradition ,something raw, then the things could hav reached to another level,,
lets not evn talk abt the dance,, the very shy and an oblivious village belle Paro and the ever brooding Major Sahab, danced together as if it was their profession,, 😆

Yup i agree with you on the popularity front... might be liked by urban viewers but somehow i felt the essence of rajasthan and the back drop was misssing...

That is exactly what i was thinking... i was kinda thrilled about rajasthani back drop and the story to unfold in that manner... so i kinda not like the track what to do... different people different views.

That is also in sync.. Because army has a cosmopolitan culture.. They are not encouraged to hold regional themed parties..so that other communities don't feel left out..the idea was to expose paro to Rudra's work life what if he gets transfered to Assam..
