I loved today's episode, it was very light and realistic and cute. I see a lot of changes in Rudra, which are visible through how he reacts to Paro again and again.
First off I loved that in the beginning of the episode, when Paro starts leaving the room, Rudra asks her where she's going. He has just told Paro that he's not taking her to Jaipur and I think he could sense that she was kind of disappointed. When he asks Paro where she's going, it shows care and concern on his part (in my opinion). He cares enough to ask her where she is going, and his concern shows through him asking WHERE she's going.
Second, he follows her when she doesn't return in a few minutes 😆 He literally follows her to check up on her and can see that something is off, so he sarcastically asks: "It's taking you this long to take off your bangles?" Wah Major saab, why do you care It's a little too much, don't you think - you following your wife around and keeping tabs on her every move when you made a vow that you will never accept her as your wife in the first place 😉
Third, when Rudra sees that Paro is hiding her injury, he tells her to show her wrist to him, and when she doesn't, he very GENTLY takes her hand. I think we've seen prior episodes when Rudra roughly grabs Paro's hand to see if she's okay (that episode where Paro goes to the bathroom and Rudra comes and asks her if she's ok...he grabs her hand roughly to make sure she's alright). But in today's episode, Rudra is very gentle, and this shows a shift in his thinking as well.
And then, of course, when our Rudy boy asks Paro if HE'S responsible for Paro's wound. This highlights that Rudra is aware that he is capable of causing Paro pain and if his eyes say anything at all, it is that he is not happy about it. Paro tells him no, you did not cause this, but he does not believe her right away. What does this say? I feel like it also shows that Rudra is aware of Paro's character, her nature, her personality. He knows that she may lie to protect him from pain, or to make him feel better. So he says, "Tell me the truth." And only when Paro swears that he is not responsible for her injury is when he believes that he is not responsible.
Next, Rudra applies ointment to Paro's wound and doesn't even think about it or make a big deal about it - which in my opinion shows that he is now really settling into his role as a husband 😆 It was great that he figured out on his own that Mohini is responsible for Paro's wound, and he goes to confront her. The confrontation scene, like another user mentioned on his/her post, felt a little rushed; but I'm willing to brush it under the carpet. I loved that Rudra told Mohini very honestly that he is Paro's protecter and that he will always stand between Paro and any harm as her shield. Rudra is really becoming confident about what he is to Paro, and from the three things Maithili highlighted of what a good husband is (friend, lover, protecter), he has finally accepted that he is one of those things to Paro. One down, two more to go!
I liked how we were also shown Rudra' internal conflict, even though it was only for a few seconds. The way his hand kind of clenched and unclenched as he thought about the pain Paro was probably going through when he was putting the bangles on her...a bit rushed, but a nice touch nevertheless.
Rudra also feels no hesitation in telling Paro that he thinks she cannot be safe and out of harm's way without him. Like mentioned before, our Rudy boy is accepting and becoming confident in his equation with his lovely wife. He realizes that Paro needs him, and that he needs Paro to be near him - because otherwise his blood pressure would rise worrying about all the terrible things that can happen to her when he's not near 😆
Forward to Jaipur. Rudra guiding Paro in the hotel lobby and in the hotel room was very cute and natural. I was afraid Rudra would lose his patience with our dear Paro and would snap at her for asking so many questions, but he remains patient with her at all times and does not even give her one of his usual rants about why he hates her. This is huge progress 👏
When Paro grabs onto Rudra's arm in the dark it was very cute, but when he turns on the lights and stares at her I felt something that was more...serious/mature. I honestly sensed some sexual tension on Rudy boy's part. The way he looked at her, that silence, I swear in that scene the big elephant in the room was sexual tension. And I believe Paro sensed it too and so quickly removed her hand from Rudra's arm 😆
It was great seeing Paro explore her surroundings and her innocent happiness and excitement with all the "new things" in the hotel room was a pleasure to watch. I only wish Rudra got to glimpse this innocent happiness of hers as well. But he's in the shower, and eventually Paro goes into the washroom to grab a towel. She sees Rudra in the shower and quickly runs out in surprise and embarrassment and covers her eyes. So clearly our Paro baisa loves Rudra but is still a child at heart because her impulsive reaction to naked Rudra was to run out and cover her eyes 😆 Is she ready for a sexual relationship? I think she still needs time 😛
Paro and Rudra's awkwardness after Rudra comes out of the shower was very cute. The way they just stood there for a moment, before Paro decides to go take a shower, it was really interesting to watch. They are both still slightly unsure of how to act with each other, and that is very nicely portrayed.
I loved Rudra's immediate concern when Paro screams in the shower. He jumps forward and goes "Is everything okay?!" He doesn't get annoyed and go, "Now what?! This larki is driving me insane!" All he feels is concern, which is adorable
And was I the only one who found it super adorable that Rudra told Paro he's going downstairs but will come back later to get her?! It was just so realistic! I've seen many couples say stuff like this to each other in real life. It was such a husband-wife moment when he declares his responsibility in fetching her and bringing her downstairs.
Unfortunately (or fortunately for us haha but definitely not for Paro baisa😆) Rudra takes the hotel room's keycard and the room goes dark. Paro freaks out and downstairs Rudra slowly realizes that he's left Paro all alone and she's probably in the dark freaking out. Saying that, I love how in the precap he's running like crazy to go to Paro! He doesn't know for sure that Paro is in trouble, but I like to believe that he can sense it, so he wastes no time and gallops (😆) to Paro out of concern and care. I was worried that he would be annoyed at Paro for coming out of the room like that and embarrassing herself, hence embarrassing him; but he runs towards her, and she runs towards him (which was super adorable to see) and she falls into his arms. I love how he caresses her hair to comfort her - clearly all he can think about is Paro's fearful state. Right in that moment he doesn't care about all the people watching the two of them, all he cares about is Paro.
I am super excited for this entire week of Rangrasiya, and I really can't wait to see tomorrow's episode! Sorry this post is so long, once I started writing I just kept writing on and on about whatever came to my mind. Cheers 😃
