Some moments need thehraav

I was looking forward to the scene today when Rudra finds out that Paro has that wound on her wrist and then his subsequent reactions directed at Mohini.

But the actual scene ended up looking like a very rushed job to me...reminding me again of the fact that it's the flow and thehraav where this show messes up time and again.

This was a significant moment...Rudra realizing that something is wrong and him deducing it on his own without Paro accusing Mohini was a good bit...but then the sharp cut to the scene with Mohini, two dialogues and the scene is done? After that brief 10 second snippet of flashback to show Rudra's turmoil and that's it?😕

Why do these people not understand the power of good editing to create significance for a scene, a moment? What they SHOULD linger on, they RUSH through and instead drag through the second half in detail...

I understand they are in a hurry to get to Jaipur and start the romance but this was a scene with so much potential given the build up it got in the previous two epis last week...but as always they squandered it in the rush to set up the next track.

Also, I personally enjoy scenes with the power of the unsaid...Rudra's protectiveness is there for everyone to see...why make it so obvious? Why not show it through actions rather than obvious threats? Yes, he was bound to threaten Mohini over this but I wish they'd found a more clever way to show it, with clever dialogues...shown some of Rudra's thought process more clearly rather than rushing through it. Wasted opportunity in my opinion.

That's exactly my take. Really wanted her head rolling.. They have rushed some scenes before that we really need the camera linger a little more. Rushing misses the nuances that's a strength of RR.

You mean Mohini's head rolling?😆...Well I didn't expect it would go to that extent but yes they seem to fail to DELIVER on the intensity they build up to many times...especially in Rudra's case, one expects more volatile reactions simmering with plenty of emotion...and to show nuance of that sort, you need to let the camera linger as you said...especially when Ashish is so talented and capable of delivering the required nuance...but sadly the direction/editing fails him on that front sometimes😕

There was so much they could have done with this bit...instead they suddenly cut to Paro gleefully packing her ghagras when he orders her to😕😆...quick switch from intensity to comedy I guess.

Also, am I the only one who feels this way but the way the characters are shown standing in the scenes is so sudden, isn't it? Like today Paro was suddenly shown just standing there when Rudra is packing...why not flow into how she enters a scene? Last week also they just SUDDENLY showed Rudra barking at her for removing her bangles...I kept thinking WHERE did he come from?😆...Like I just can't tell when a character enters or exits a scene😕

Have a big time complaint with the editing of this show and somehow the essence of the story telling is lost as it seems so rushed and hotch potch. Felt the same today, just like the previous time when Paro's innocence in the burning of Dilsher was cleared in one line to Rudra. I hope they take note of this and rectify in the future. They seem to be in a hurry to close tracks for TRPs but anything done in a hurry leaves a lot to be desired.

Anu- Agree! Rudra Banna was looking very THAKA hua in the first 10 min- very deflated types?? And there was not enough of his usual aggressiveness and bite in the scene with Kakisa. It was like one of the passing scenes- and NOT THE scene- which we'd thought it would be. Chalo- chodo- yeh na socho 🤔 Actually major saab was sounding very mild through out the episode today- ek bhi baar aaj banda irritate nahi hua- kamaal!!
Aapke Jaipur 'joie de vivre' ke baare main kya khayalat hain?
