Does she mean Rudra and Paro conspired to get married the moment Papa Ranawat was out of the house? But why would Ranawat Sr have to be away? He wasn't a deterrent to the wedding, yes he wouldn't have wished for the wedding to happen like this, be isn't he the president of the "Paro for DIL" campaign? Mausams words make it sound like Paro and Rudra were just lying in wait for Dilsher to leave.

Am i missing something?

The Vows are a spur of the moment thing. Not something that in my opinion that Rudra will be bend on keeping

About the 1st Vow, Rudra is still amazed at her one leg stand act to convince him of her love..her blind love. He feels he cannot match it and hence his disclaimer, please donot expect such from me 😊

Whatever he is capable of, he will deliver without asking.. 😊

The 3rd vow, i shall not be trapped by ur beauty, is invalid bcze, he is in every sense trapped by her inner beauty. Hence this mind v heart struggle, to get out of the trap.

His 8 vows actually in a twisted way gives Paro an insight of why he did not want to marry her.

Simply put he feels he is not capable of love, trust and not capable of keeping his partner happy.

About the vows, the mockery anger and venom where directed at himself.
He has 'lost' to a khoobsoorat aurat of all people, the one species for him treachery runs in their veins more than blood... He has spent nearly half a lifetime and still recovering from the betrayal of one only to plunge himself in the same tragedy despite such a crushing lesson in life. That too with the women that was brought up by his own mother. What a cruel cruel twist of faith, (We know it's a blessing in disguise). These vachans are a reminder for HIMSELF to not fall into the same trap.

Rudra's words contradict his action when it comes to Paro. He will always protect her, not allow any harm to touch her, now he is not fully in his senses, bt when he regains them, im waiting to see how well he maintains his distance once the social worker track is over!
