Paro is someone important to you and you are not doing this out of mere humanity...as soon as he heard this he stopped Maithili. NO, he was not letting anyone tell him that Paro is important to him, that he has started caring for Paro..no one should say that...not Maithili, not his dad, not Aman, not anyone. He looks at Paro and tells her "You are nobody to me. Are you listening ? There is nothing between us" ...not even for a moment he wants to feel that he cares for her. He wants to assert himself that he can never care for her, never.
But as soon as her head leans down, he jumps to catch her. He gets a chair to sit beside her. A lump formed in my throat at the way he looked at her with so much care and the way he kept his hand beside her head ready to catch her in case she falls off again. Did he know she will turn again, no but he was ready for her incase she does. And when she fell into his palm and caught his wrist, the quizzical look he had. He wanted to remove her hand but would do nothing to break her peaceful sleep. He would always protect her from any trouble. But the irony is he is his own enemy, he wants to kill any thoughts which would bring him back to life and Paro is his life.
Rudra has a long way to go before he can accept his life and Paro has a long way to go before she makes her destiny true. Though they are under the same roof, may be under the same room, their lives are going to be different though destined to be together. Until they acknowledge to each other that they are an inseparable part of each other, they remain as two lonely souls who are incomplete.
