So I finally catch an episode of RR after almost a month - thanks to savvy05, and I'm hit with an almost tsunami like pheeling of deja-vu.
Bhy - you ask? 😲 Read on.
Act 1, Scene 1
The wind blows wildly, and the bells clang madly. She grabs him by the hand at his mandir (BSD headquarters). As he stares at her while holding on to his medal (mangalsutra), she whips out the sindoor.
And then...
Bitiya: yeh sab cheezein tumhare liye bahut maayine rakhti hain - hain na? Yeh medal (mangalsutra), yeh sindoor? Toh yeh raha medal (mangalsutra), aur yeh raha sindoor.
(She fills his maang, though admittedly, it takes her a few minutes to even find a maang in that lush mane of hair) 😈
Bitwa: Shocked, stunned and hurt, as a hint of tears gathers at the back of his eyes. 💔
Bitiya: Ab tum mere pati ho. Par sirf che mahine ke liye (because the show only has a year's contract)
Bitiya: Uske baad main tumhe azaad kar doongi (because we both need to find our next show)
Bitwa: Tears threatening to spill over. 🥺 🥺
Bitiya: Par tab tak main tumhare saath, tumhare ghar mein, tumhari patni ban kar rahoongi.
Bitwa: The dam breaks and he dissolves into a puddle of tears.
Me: Am I watching Colors in 2014... or Star Plus in 2012?
