We have all been shocked by seeing Paro suddenly proposing to Rudra, in the precap.
Most readers have found it unacceptable that she should act in such haste and forgetting her own insult and humiliation by Rudra in trying to make her marry Sumer in exchange for his forgiveness.
I wish, she had at least once asked Rudra why he is doing this ? why he wants to marry her off to a person who was ready to do so for money?
But I think she already knows in her heart that it is not what Rudra actually wants.
That is the reason she asked him if he would really be happy if she married Sumer ?
In fact she says to him that his eyes say one thing while his words express just the opposite.
This clearly shows that she is aware that Rudra cannot hurt her. No matter how harsh his words, he cannot actually harm or hurt her. That is the reason she challenges him to hold her hand and throw her out. She knows that he cant...do it.
Besides, all events so far have proved to her that there is some connection between Rudra and her. She has been seeing him in her dreams even before she met him. He was the saviour who saved her from a terrible terrible fate. Also apart from that, even in small small instances like from Mohini or Laila, he stood like a shield in front of her to protect her. Plus the childhood connection. So no wonder a God fearing and God believing person like her sees some symbolism in all this . This makes her believe that somehow her destiny is tied to rudra's . The entangling of the Rudraksha bands also seemed to symbolise this to her. So it may not exactly be love but a combination of gratitude, belief in the inevitability of her connection with him that makes her propose to him.
