Rudr was lost in thought. The picture of his mother as thakurain in raja thakur's house had left the already broken pieces of heart crushed.
He was in his room thinking and flashes of his mom running behind him with a glass of milk haunted him. It gave him immense pain. He couldn't resist it anymore and started to drink alcohol. He gulped in a glass as if the liquid will escape out if he doesn't act fast. He breathed heavy. His eyes turned moist. It didn't relieve him from his pain. He drank another glass and the count increased until he was completely drunk. He heard noises from his dad's room. He put down the glass and moved towards the room.
In the room, gowri had dropped the oil and was picking up the broken glass pieces.
Rudr - "What did you do now?"
What can paro say now? She was pictured as dumb person. She just picked up the pieces silently. Rudr bent down and helped her.
Rudr - "Thank you for helping me in the right time. I really appreciate your care for my dad."
He looked at her wrist and it reminded him of Parvati. Out of curiosity he looked up but the veil had covered up the face till neck. Nothing was visible than her black threaded necklace. Rudr continued to examine her.
Rudr (Softly wishpers) - "Paro"
Gowri gulps in and is stunned at his addressing. She stopped picking up the glass she was touching. Rudr noticed her freeze and was almost sure. He slowly held her veil and started to lift when paro/gowri held the glass and it pierced her. Paro groaned in pain.
Rudr left her veil and immediately held her hand in his. The wind suddenly started to blow and rudr's hair flew across his forehead as if waves were touching the shore. Paro could see him though the veil and was worried on what if he finds out?
Rudr - "I am sorry that you can't even tell that you are in pain."
He placed his hand on her shoulder and lifted her up on to her feet. He led to the washroom. Paro walked with him hesitantly. Rudr filled his palm with water and slowly dropped it on her cut palm. Paro shivered in pain and rudr could sense it. He looked at her.
Rudr - "Whomsoever you are, you are helping me and it's my duty in return to help you."
Paro smiled beneath her veil and wished for an opportunity to prove her innocence to him. The wind kind of changed it's direction, and this time it blew off the veil from paro's head revealing her tensed up face to Rudr.
Paro had no idea on how she could explain him. Rudr was fuming already and crushed her hurt palm. Paro cried in pain and held the shower knob tight.
Rudr - "How dare you come back into my house?"
He took a step ahead and slipped down holding paro's hand in his. Paro slipped with him as well and landed straight on him and in this course she let open the shower. Water kept running down and both got drenched.
Paro was all over him and Rudr could barely stand up. Paro's hand was still in his and looked straight into her innocent little eyes. How could he have ever doubted her? Paro tried to stand back but her long gagra came in-between her feet and slipped again. Rudr held her right in time from falling. He slowly landed her back on him. He kept staring at her while the wind of Rajasthan started to sing for them.
Dil ki dhadkan sooni sooni
Saansain bhi hai adhoori
Adha adha mile to hove
Kamiya sari poori
Rehe kyon rutha rutha,
tu mann basiyaaa
Rang rasiya , rang jave
Rang range sapno main , rang rasiya
Rang rasiyaaa
