Well, now that is a bit too harsh and negative.
"But alas a poor script after the 1st week leading to dark valley of usual saas-bahu story with a extremely weak heroine and same old angry young man with a bad past didn't interest the viewers much".

And you know that that is not true. Same angry young man? What??😡

It hardly matters if the show is amongst the <font color="#990033">Top-10 is Kwa-Zulu-Natal in South-Africa or in rome in Italy.</font>

RR had a brilliant concept and a almost film-like cinematic brilliance in the beginning and the usual promise of something new.

But alas a poor script after the <font color="#990033">1st week leading to dark valley of usual saas-bahu story with a extremely weak heroine and same old angry young man with a bad past didn't interest the viewers much.</font>

<font color="#990033">Don't think RR's niche audience can carry the show much longer and it may not be long before this ends...</font>

And yet you keep coming back to our forum for more. And worse, you have resorted to bumping your own threads for attention. Just embarrassing.
I was hoping no one would reply and it would disappear but since it is still alive...I will use your thread as an opportunity to reply towards other sensible people who use the TRPs as an excuse to unfairly criticize RR as if it's the worst thing ever. Apparently they don't watch the show because it sucks so bad, yet they follow it more closely than we do, enough to criticize every aspect of it (especially the female lead)...it's a sign that they lack a social life and should get out more :)
I don't care about the TRPs because as its been said a million times, it obviously does not determine the quality of a show. 24 with Anil Kapoor was an extremely well-made show yet it received the lowest ratings.
Young people these days watch TV shows online and RR's core audience is young. It's not just in India but overseas too. That's why big budget shows like House of Cards are being launched on online websites like Netflix and big networks like ABC has started streaming their shows online. All my friends watch RR online. It is the much more convenient method these days. My aunts watch their stuff on TV though...that explains why Saath Nibhana Saathiya is #1 in TRPs. A list which contains that show on the top is a list I'd rather RR not be a part of. Bye.

This is getting on my nerves. There is only so much I can pass off as a joke, or take lightly. If repeatedly such posts appear, how is the TM merely "expressing their opinion"? I don't know mods. This is hardly fair. It's beyond irritating now.

I think this show is aimed at a particular audience. And I think that audience is very much enjoying it. So that audience happens not to be of the majority kind, but I think all the online buzz and views show that it's popular in it's own way.
Maybe TRP isn't the only way to judge popularity.

Star Trek (not that I'm comparing RR to it) had abysmal ratings... But if you ask any sci fan what's the greatest sci fi show, it's hands down Star Trek.

As long as a show is liked by the audience it's aimed at, I think that's far more important than a lot of people liking it.

It's not really black or white and TRP isn't every thing. It's gives a picture of what kind of flavour a large number of people seem to enjoy. It doesn't necessarily mean all other flavours are bad.
