Is that what you think?😉

I thought after a disastrous day where he got dumped at the mandap and dandafied and what not, he just wanted to make sure Paro was not his half sister, tabhi the question - Maasa kyon bula rahi hai?😲

Faltu Gyaan

Go to a temple.
Make your maant.
Dry leaves fly all over.
Tress in the background all haray bharay stay still.
Ghanti(s) swaying.

Samjho - Mannat Sweekar.

yeh... Now I get the reason behind the q... Defo clarity needed is she his half sister by any chance... Way to go Rudra banna.👏

Thanks for this hilarious take Enjoyed reading it so much and you answered some of my doubts real well as always Thank you for pointing out the difference when both where in similar situations What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger and Paro seems to be the sort who when given lemons not only is capable of making lemonade but also use the discarded peels to make a pickle as well
I really wish ST had spent more time on her character etch Rudra's has been written by someone with a PHD on his character while Paro by a junior intern SI has had to rise above and portray Paro as she is meant to be which she has managed to do wonderfully over the last few weeks in her character growth

My POV
I think she is going through a phase of hero worship she has placed him on a pedestal and will do her hardest to seek the forgiveness of her champion Love has not entered the quotient but respect awe and deep admiration for his valour and courage has and also maybe she feels she is not worthy of the love of one such as he and his inebriated breakdown has evoked her innate maternal instincts in her as well which is very much I think the theme of the current MU- to belie the truth' of his fathers bitter declaration all beautiful women don't belong to their Fathers/ parents and hence even her comforting of him over his nightmare was very motherly I think anything else read intense would have freaked me out as he was shouting for his mum and this would have looked so weirdly oedipal and kinky on many levels plus it would not be reflective of her role as an innocent He has not woken the woman in her completely (yet the stirrings are there )so she was right in her responses of confusion and instinctive need to calm him like a mother would a child having a bad dream

I think the makers did want to make a pointed difference in their respective Shaanths His was sexual reflective of his growing awareness of her as a woman separate from the captive criminal witness she was which they culminated with the Laila Showdown where it was clearly spelt out that she evoked in him a man's yearning and desire for the woman and as Vicky(MKM) wrote in one of her posts- on the threshold of love

Now the run I interpret it as a re run of the first time she ran straight to her Higher Power to thank him for Varun and now she is running from her Higher Power towards her hero for what is the million rupee question I think tonight's scene will shed better clarity but sigh the editing the directing and the overall technical quality has visibly been rather lacking in the quality that RR initially had I am attributing it to the divorce and sure this blip will be just that and RR will get back its superior excellence in execution That was one of the main USP of RR

I have a very sneaky suspicion the next needle of suspicion is going to fall on Aman He has caught them thrice in situations where either one are staring at the other The first time at Mehendi when he caught her smiling at Aman in response to Sunehri the second when she stepped out of the car minutes before her so called wedding and she looked at him first with her stricken face and then at Rudra and then Aman's slightly smiling countenance when they were talking about their foster sibling bond So poor Aman will be at the receiving end of his temper tantrum especially when he comes to know his connivance in getting her inside the haveli to nurse his father

Now a poser- Is Paro's desperation for forgiveness going to translate into never ending tracks of MU that contradict the truth of his fathers indoctrinated ideology every step of the way? She has broken free of her paternalistic' brainwashing from childhood How long will his drag?

I would prefer that she makes her amendment only so far as to the act of not trusting him over the truth of Tejawat heals Dilsher for that is her calling proves her innocence and then decides to leave the haveli to live with her mamisa happy that she got the exoneration she so desperately wanted and her honor and dignity restored

I am not unrealistic to demand she go elsewhere and make a life or get an education or a job for Rudra and Paro are the figment of imagination of creatives in a made for TV soap and the story revolves around these 2 fictional characters But I meant as in a respite before the next MU starts Let him realize her worth and what she means come a courting get married and then the Aman MU can happen unless these devious Creatives have a night of passion planned during this phase leading to a bun in the oven and doubts creep over Aman Oh please I really don't even want to imagine such a dreadful scenario

Once again love reading your takes as always

Rudra def, needs a break from this investigation as much as he would like to be part of this, he is too involved emotionally, and now too much at stake personally to ever be able to be hv the required degree of detachment.

I get humorous when the episodes make no sense, or annoy me 😛 Or when they affect me a lot ... yesterday was NOT one of those. It annoyed me at multiple levels ... it was very jerky and poorly put together ... and logic was missing big time.

The cvs are taking great pains to show the role reversal ... to emphasize that Paro and Rudra are equal ... two halves of a whole. Parvati is Adi-Shakti ... she is Rudra's strength, he is nothing without her.

Its true. Even I find, sometimes, the show annoying and out of logic. The promise of ampleur, grandeur, fresh storyline and the great execution the show gave at the beginning is not kept according to me. It seems like they are caring more to get higher TRPs now.

What I dont understand is how Tejawat left his black diary in his wardrobe just like that. He could take jewels and all but this? I could have understood if the diary was kept in a locker in the house, but it did look like it was kept along with jewels.

Thirdly, Paro running towards Rudra a la DDLJ was ott for me. Hope to get a proper explanation to that tonight.

I had lost interest in the show for a while, it was a phase showing Rudra's attraction towards Paro but knowing Rudra's character and his hatred to beautiful women, the transition was a little too fast for me. My POV 😳

But Paro has been consistent with her character, and she is not a doormat, crying baby. This is one of the plus point of the show.

Loved reading your take as always, Diya. I enjoyed the episode throwing the logic out of the window. (specially regarding the diary thing). SanIsh were good as always. I'm glad Ashish is done with the crying stuff and back to old Rudra.
Read so many posts about Paro running into Rudra's arms as ott. The fall was accidental. The reason for running could be that she felt happy that her prayers got answered when she saw him in the temple. Anyway, picture abhi baki hai.
The cv's wanted to give us a PaRud hug and i'm happy about it.
Oh, i missed to mention, i'm liking Aman a lot these days and today he had more dialogues.

I get it, in Soapyworld a love story is impossible if the hero does not have:

Maa issues
Dad issues

Status issues
Looks issues

What I don't get it is when the shaatir dimaag wala hero starts getting emotionally attached/loving or whatevering a gal:

His Shaatir Dimaag goes for a permanent vacation.
He starts working from home.
He outsources everything to Aman. (Tejavat ka info mila toh tell me, Search the haveli for important info while I sit and go on Flashback mode)

All these creative stomp and sulk about the TOUGH conditions in TV industry why don't they show their own Hero working hard, using his dimaag, earning his money and not be such a Faltu insaan when on the verge of/ post romance?????😳

🤣 Let me laugh at your post before I reply!

🤣🤣🤣

I read you loud and clear, Shwethu!!! That's purely lazy writing by the cv's ... if they gave the hero any brains at all, no MU would last for more than ten seconds, so flimsy as they are! And apna Rudra is actually the heroine ... he cries, weeps and moans about his momma ... while Paro fights the goons. 😆

My gripe is that here Tejawat also lost his brains ... he had time to take jewelry and cash, and CLOTHES ... and forgot his little black book? 😲 In which he helpfully wrote down all his contacts, presumably with names, addresses, phone numbers, email ids and bank account details?

So true he is now one sulking bozo!😆

Love that Paro was upfront with him and said she stayed back because he asked her too. And he sure is mad as hell knowing she is the one who got all that was taken from him. Might be also thinking mommy dearest taught her well. Paro comes with similar traits.

And yeah I bet if Paro gets to know the same thing (15 years of love obligation)..she is sure going to go on a "Zindagi bhar I owe Rudra trip"(facepalm)

The problem with having a hero and heroine who actually communicate, is that it's very difficult to create MU's between them. Most heroes/heroines hide the truth from each other/family/ neighbours/ aam junta to save someone the "hurt" of knowing the truth ... yahan par Rudra and Paro, especially Paro, say everything straight out. I'm sure Rudra is going to tell her that Mala is his mother before too long too.

I think the temple bit has left many a confused. To me she seems to want forgiveness for doubting Rudra and not the fire event. Also her running to him was just her joy, she is in the presence of God, just finished praying, tied the bell, she turns to see him, thinks that Bholenath had answered her prayers way too quick, God sent him to her (otherwise for her how could a man like Rudra land up at a mandir?) and he was right there to go to and ask for forgiveness.

The scene did not show her trip...but she is on step 1 and he is a couple of steps below. Which means she trips and falls into his arms, hence he has caught her with his arms around her. if it wasn't a fall, no reason for him to hold her that way.

I don't think she is in love with Rudra ... she is indulging in a strong bout of guilt, repentance, and also hero worship ... he has been her protector all along, has saved her from a really terrible fate, so she wants him to think well of her, and also wants to make up for giving him so much grief earlier, when she saw how affected he was by the loss of job and his men. Swathi (FLS) has written it beautifully ... I agree with her completely.

Right now Paro is on mission One. Forgive forgive and forgive. Second would the fire bit...and really if you see somewhere she thinks Rudra is not thinking straight right now and hence blaming her, she thinks deep down he really does not believe she would do it.

I don't blame her for thinking that Rudra is not thinking straight right now ... he is NOT!!! 😆 And she does understand part of the reason ... his father's condition. She has no idea yet about his mother, of course.

Now about Paro's feelings for Rudra. Too late the girl has some very deep feelings for the man!

Firstly what feeling...Love? NO

Attraction? A feeling of I can trust this man? Admiration? YES to all

When he saved her from the goons She hide behind him and placed her hand on his shoulder,...it's a subconscious act...yet it happened, and when she realizes she withdrew her hand at the time...it's something she cannot question herself...and again the many times Rudra touched her...not by force...but accidental...she has never pushed him away, like when he brought her down from the cupboard, when she got stuck in the door of his wardrobe etc etc.

And what makes it easier for these feelings to surface now is that she is free of Tej and Varun's baggage most of all.

Plus its hero worship...her rakshak from day one. When she spoke of him to her Maamisa, she was all praise for him, that he was not just her saviour but he would save the rest of the girls across the border.

And her connection with Bholenath...asking for a groom whose name would be same as his, and with panditji telling her of the Rudra/Parvati connect...it's like upar waale ki marzi...toh kya karega qaazi!😉

And then add to this her compassionate, caring, nurturing, giving nature...

Now whether Rudra reciprocates these feelings back is not her worry. She just wants that he does not think ill of her. She can't bear that. Plus it's more like she has taken on the role of his daasi...so what do we call this? Is it Love? Dunno!

Exactly!!! I said the same above, before I read this part. It's gratitude, admiration, something she always did feel ever since he protected her the very first time, now unfettered by her false ideas about the BSD, about her husband, ans her marriage ... and a strong dose of hero worship. And she is now free to let her heart rule her head, and let those feelings guide her actions. Earlier she was being pulled in opposite directions, now both head and heart say the same thing ... Rudra is a good man, he has always looked out for her. Yes, he's got a temper, but that's because he's basically a small boy at heart.

Thanks for the lovely take, dd! 😃

hugs

dd

You said it, spirit ... that is actually very true. Rudra is too emotionally invested in this case to deal with it with any level of detachment or common sense ... he is an emotional man at the best of times, and this is the worst of times for him. He needs to back off and let others deal with it ... of course, since no one knows the mother connection, that is not going to happen. He is teetering on the brink of an explosion right now, and really doesn't seem capable of making any sound decisions.
