Ha ha...that's interesting! my mom and I are both big on WOMEN POWER! Since I watch only one Hindi show at a time...it's great to be able to shoot breeze with her on it...Talking about WOMEN POWER...my moms angle always comes back to how a woman is treated...and how she reacts to it...she loves Jodhas character a lot and JA is her favorite show...Today she was telling me about this other show...where the husband hit the wife...so she left him...She loves to watch ...women not getting crushed by all these powerful...many times ill tempered men...and maintaining their identity...But she wants women to be understanding as well...Today she was talking to be about the difference between being flexible and being a push over...those are my words...but her explanation fit it...and when I spoke the words...she was like EXACTLY ...that's what I mean...
the only time we end up discussing anything is when she wants to crib which is quite often given the fact the Bengali shows are sadly atrocious. So my mum cribs. Jhilik is so annoying! Why do they have such mindless plots? Do they take the audience for a fool? And when I tell her about IF she is always telling me to write to certain channels and tell them to end a particular show because it had been going for ages. She wishes there was a forum for Bengali shows too so that she could crib about them. 😆
