Why Laila/Ankita, why?

When Laila enters the hall for the Haldi, we can see her with cute black ballet flats but, but...when she runs into the shower scene why oh why is she wearing the most horrendous pair of platform clogs? It looked totally out of place and for the rest of her scenes I could only think of her teetering on those😃

Why do all these vertically challenged actresses in Tellywood and Bollywood resort to wearing platforms? Kajol and Juhi are big fans of the ugly platforms. Oh, and Ekta maiyya too.
