Initially, I was impressed with a border-story. It just turned too violent for me eventually. Now, that isn't a concern to the story at all. The ONE thing that would have set RR impressively apart was this conflict. They decided to use it as a trigger for the love-hate story.

Also, I haven't yet figured out the motive behind Tejawat's brainwashing of a village against the BSD. Why exactly, is he doing that?

It started off really covering pretty much everything. But because it is a daily soap, it has to go gradually, unlike the movies. So, in my opinion, the CVs concentrate on one aspect much more than the other on certain days, and quite frankly, as the people want it at that time. Twists are then to be brought, and interest of the viewers made stable and to kind a hook them forever. But gradually as the drama settles, they then might pick up a different aspect and delve into it, while creating a balance with so many other aspects at the same time. I am quite confident they are going to go deeper into the law side of the story, once they focus upon rudra and the matters of the army (capturing thakur/failing/paro being kidnapped/etc. etc. etc...after mahashivratri, wedding or sans wedding.

In a daily show the essence is in parts the hook and incubation of the story so it is key that the show bend to different stories when and if necessary only. There are plenty of directions the show can grow into but I think it is fair to note that if story arcs are not placed now then taking a full story into other themes will usher a larger deviation; not that that is a bad thing.

This would be one of the points where I think the story could use some natural expansion. There are some gaps that, in my view, are begging to be filled in with themes beyond a love-hate dynamic.
I for one would like some social angles on the side . Their can be a wonderful adoption track incorporated in the samraat- maitheli track.
@Bold - I also would love to see the adoption track.Already colors showed adoption track in BV .
