Little Boy Lost...

Rudra in all his rough edged and multifaceted glory is truly a sight to behold.

A patriotic army officer, smart, aggressive, honest and driven.. A man taught to be ruthless when push comes to shove. A man capable of cruelty yet in possession of a protective streak that runs a mile wide. A man filled with so much anger and self loathing, one who believes there is no salvation in sight. A man who only knows how to veil his affection for his father by way of little barbs embedded in their daily conversation. (And the father? He gives as good as he gets😆) A man capable of showing great tenderness and that the hands that wield a weapon are capable of showing gentleness too. A man afraid of loosing the only family ( The Army) which has shown him equal devotion. A man so sensual... So so sensual.

We know his mother left when he was child. We've seen the flash backs which have succeeded in leaving us with a view of his life in three parts. Life with a loving mother. Life spent in a vacuum waiting, hoping for her return. Life after that little hope was extinguished.

We've seen Rudra, Dilsher Ranawats BSD officer, Jallad son. But when he crossed paths with his mother today I think It finally, finally sunk in that he has a mother too. That he had once been the apple of that very mothers eye.. A thin curtain of rain and a fogged glass couldn't hide that tug of recognition. The eyes... the very eyes he was blessed (cursed?) with held him captivated. Her voice jogged long suppressed memories and in a daze, despite only moments ago reprimanding Aman for being overly soft, he wordlessly let her go. ( Brings to mind, "A man bows his head only before three women...")

How different would this man have been had she not left?

The Thakurain probably cannot fathom that her son could be the man standing in front of. After all when she left, it was a boy who still viewed the world around him in innocent wonder, that she left behind.

The world is a cruel place. She should've known better.

Truly curious to know why she left. Cannot wait for more scenes with the two of them. There's just something about a man and his mother that tugs at my heart strings ( Maybe it's me?😆)

How can i not mention

That hot HOT scene with Rudra and Paro. It felt like someone drop kicked my heart ( stomach and everything else) straight into oblivion when his face descended into the crook of her neck, lips barely a breath away from sensitive skin. Mausam chachi had a problem with the chudiyan? She would have shit ambrick if she glimpsed that scene then.😆

On Paro: Love that she is willing to stand her ground. She showed him evidence of his rough handling of her wrist. And i was really giggling when he sought to include her in his plans to foil chachi like he would an ally, how sure he was of her cooperation like before. Did he truly think Paro would let all those innuendos slide? Bam! She said she'd do the exact opposite of what he wanted and reduced him to an adorable "Kya" yet again.

Talking about Thakurain sa as rudra's mother I hav so many things going inside my head, really dont know how to start with !!
This plot has the capability of becoming a festering sore on a sensitive viewer's psyche,if the cvs do not handle it carefully. unfortunately it is showing early signs.
First ,let us consider the backdrop of the narrative. rural Rajasthan ,one of the most conservative states of India Forget foreign countries,it is not even a story of an urban higher middle class household of a metro city, of a highly educated, liberal thinking, independent woman conscious of her rights and feminine desires that she leaves her husband and an adolescent son in a blink of an eye, never returns back and starts a live-in relationship with another man pretending she is never married before. This is a story of a remote village where women, once married ,still now tries their best to it work, keeping aside all the taunts and even sometimes physical abuses of in-laws. And rudra's flashback showed us a happy household. then what made her to run away from her home to another man apart from her lust for him !!
Now ! dont get me wrong. I am not against feminine desires of their right to choose and abandon their object / s of desire. what I am saying it looks incongruous in such a given background. and thakurain sa from the very first introductory scene was shown to be madly in love with Tejawat...never a sign of guilt or pang surpassed her lovely face that she left a full settled home behind, a son without a mother.
And wat is she blabbering about today to her pyare devarji about taking her son to his paramour ?? My dear lady !! which would do u dwell in...show me that place...Ineed to confirm if it is in India 😆 kya pehchan hoga uss ladke ka, who was old enough to realise the shame his mother had brought to the family
who was shattered so much that even the beatings of his teacher had no effect on him.wat did she dream?? that she would take that boy in her lap like a 2 months old and say aj je yeh tumhara papa hai, papa bolo isse ?? is this an american romcom ??
So frankly speaking I found it absolutely logical if Dilsher stopped her taking away the son, atleast saved a last portion of boy's identity !! sorry !! absolutely no sympathy for her !
