I don't think he told her he has kept her locked up for this reason. But after staging her fake death he told her he is the only one who wants her alive and even if she does not want he won't let her. since, then she knows he is protecting his only witnesses life.

that is why he does not want anyone to see her.

He blocks her way from one hand and says he is not of old thoughts she can call him by his name Rudra😲😆

He moves lifts his other hand close to her neck. She says do not touch me and closes her eyes. He removes the necklace and says who wants to touch? Paro opens her eyes Rudra says this is what she was trying to do right (remove the set)
