Paro - Sardee ki dhoop, hamesha girne waali baarish, hawaa mein behti khushbhu , jharne ka paani aur sandal ki aag.
Lets face it. Rudra and Paro are in a relationship - a relationship that is moving away from the captor-captive relationship. They are in a spot where Rudra quietly comes up from behind and does her kitchen chores. Where he tries to normalize the situation after their last volatile showdown by hiding behind the excuse of " mazdooron ke saamne mut aana tu". Where he gets frustrated by her silence and averted eyes and reminds her that when he is talking to her, she must look into his eyes and answer his questions. In sync , Paro is beginning to adopt the haweli and Rudra's family as her own, unconsciously. She forms a bond with Maithli and makes her, her Jeeja. She feels like family with her and Sunehri. When Maami questions , Paro defends and protects Rudra's storybook with an unpolished talent. Mentally, she is in touch with Rudra and what he has told and taught her.
Rudra tries to treat Paro as a crime witness , but when Aman questions him about her innocence, Rudra stammers and fumbles as he realizes that he has long forgotten that she is guilty.
When Sumer steps on Paro's honour, Rudra protects it with dignity and asserts on "Meri Mangetar" without flinching at all. Paro's face is relieved and she goes to the safety caves with Rudra , like a child as he guides her away from darkness.
From " Baahar kyun nikli tu?" , Rudra progresses to asking Paro if she is feeling okay. Did Sumer hurt you? Did he misbehave with you? And Paro answers everything like a safe puppy. They discuss their fake engagement exams like a team , without hurling any accusations and sour words at each-other. They discuss how to cook new stories and there is no anger or venom here.
Paro apologizes to Rudra for having called him emotionally infertile and well, makes the mistake of mentioning his mother. Rudra listens to her genuine speech , but there is no 'its ok' to it. He counter-attacks her by snapping her weak vein - Nandini.
Walking together , hand -in-hand, steps matched ... and yet giving each-other those small reminders - Hey! We are still enemies and at war. Today's dose - Rudra's mother and Paro's sister.
Precap - Its ok. Rudra Sa ko thappad se nahin mohabbat se dar lagta hai. Thappad aage khada tha, mohabbat peechhe khadee thi. Thappad khaana safe tha aur dekho zara, kya attitude se khaaya hai. Lucky Paro. 😉
