😆...Oh how I love the way he says it!! It covers all, his son's temper and personality and how the father knows and suffers from it!! Proud papa...and his tantrum throwing sonny boy!!
Bapu sa (as pyaari paaro calls him) is such a sweetheart!! The official cupid in the house 😉!! The Paro-Rudra-Dilsher scene was sho cute, with Dilsher pulling Rudra's leg. Paro was quite oblivious to the undercurrents between the father son duo. Papa was actually teasing his bigda hua Rudra Dev, reminding me of elementary school days. The way he encourages his son to help his hone waali bindani is so funny!! The pat on the shoulder and the helpful "gas" was too good. The son pretty much aware of his father's hidden agenda and his irritable impatience with his matchmaking attempts. And finally when it seems like Rudra Dev's teesri aankh was ready to glare, pat comes the reminder that the drama needs to continue or Mausam kaaki will get suspicious, and that too delivered with a poker face!! 😃 His last rejoinder about the jail hui roti and sabzi had Rudra fuming all the way. Such an unusual and dry cupid!! 😉
And the breakfast scene, (I have to make a separate post for that 😛), especially his naughty smile had me grinning back in response. The way he approves of his Rudra Dev's taandav, and enjoys while his son gets back with elan, is so heart warming. Dilsher knows that no one can push his son in a corner and get away with it. He just sat back and whole heartedly approved, a highly interested spectator of the unfolding drama, while his son fired away, all guns blazing. He loved every bit of the comeuppance Rudra served Mohini, his wide grin flashing like a diva's diamond. He was one proud papa for sure. His message very loud n clear...try messing with my son!! He had his failings as a father, but he still did something right!! His son has a heart of gold and a backbone of steel!! His "Barabbar Padi" so echoed our feelings, bet one and all were cheering !! His parting shots about how his bitterness makes him proud, and his instructions to Paro were priceless!! Just proved that whatever his Rudra Dev might be..Dilsher is still his Baap!! 😃
