Samrat and Maithali seem like a much in love couple, who seem to have a great equation. Samrat has a kind heart and doesn't like it when he & his wife get taunted by his mother and brother.
But what is the use of all of the gussa when he is not going to do anything about it, well except for complaining like a wuss within the confines of his room and showing his false bravado.
When you marry someone you promise to protect their honour & dignity. On that account Samrat has failed big time. His wife gets taunted constantly by his mother, she makes her work round the clock, treats her worse than a piece of trash, yet Samrat stands by doing nothing.
And please don't tell me that our culture doesn't allow us to speak against elders. Culture is about living with dignity & respect, culture is about standing up for what you believe is right.
