wasnt he the one who instilled the thought in Rudra's mind that beautiful women are not loyal to anyone, be it their father, husband or chlidren
He hated beautiful women back then right?

and now he seems fine with Paro and actually seems to like her too

So is it that he came to term with his wife's betrayal and learned to blame her alone instead of blaming all beautiful women or I am missed something?

If that is indeed the case, then its too bad that he in all likelihood played a major role in making Rudra the 'apparently' heartless human he is today in haste

When Disher instilled this very thought in his mind,"Khubsurat auratein kisi ki nahi hoti..Na apne baap ki,na pati ki,aur na apne aulad ki"...he himself was not in a stable state...his wife had deserted him(supposedly) and alchohol helped him...aur saari bhadaas nikaal di Rudra pe...what he did not realize is the impact of the statement he made...which at present defines Rudra's personality...and in so many years he has somewhat become stable...and Rudra is still unstable...

Thanks for making this post..! 😃

I was wondering about this too and came to this conclusion, that the lesson he gave Rudra, about beautiful women being deceptive, was out of carelessness and anger..

He was TOO per-occupied in his pain and hurt, that he was unaware of how MUCH venom he is feeding his son against beautiful women or women in general..

I think with time, as you said, he has managed to come to terms with his wife's betrayal.. Or rather he found consolation in drinking alcohol.. But too bad the same cant be said about his son. Due to his carelessness, he has ruined personality of his son, snatched his chidhood and innocence from him and as a result, he is now labelled as 'Animal' and 'Jallad' by people..!

Nice post ..
Sometimes adults say something to kids not realising the repurcussions of their act. He was in a very vulnerable weak moment in his life when he gave that ' gyan' to his son not realising the damage he has done.
Seeing him now .. He seems a very interesting man , not as bitter as he was then .. It's not just with Paro , but also with his younger brother that he shares a nice bond . He seems a lot less damaged than rudra ...

i think he was angry at the time but he has moved on
but rudra was a child at the time so he is deeply affected
even i am suprised how quickly ranawat has taken a liking to a pretty girl
so much that wants her as his bahu
