Aruni, quite a few of us are waiting for Rudra-Chachisa face off next week. A man with few words, a woman whose caustic words makes everyone run helter skelter.. and of course the intense stare downs between the two. Me thinks Rudra has a worthy adversary in Chachi-sa.. though I pity all the other inmates of the house who are going to be caught in the crossfire😛

Not after the opening week Savs (those too were much later on YT)...but I am reasonably clued in though coz I have been reading all your posts...even though haven't watched beyond the first couple of episodes...had to watch those since there were the Barney wars...had to at least have a Dekho of Barney Sa...😆..I am so behind now that it seems too much work to catch up...

Nicely written.

The entry of chachi has spiced things up and looking forward to the Rudra-Chachi confrontation. Someone was asking about the actress - Ananya Khare not only did Devdas, where she did a loud character (it was Bhansali after all) but also Chandni Bar. And back in time she has even better credentials having played Premchand's Nirmala and Hum Log on DD. All feisty characters and she is a master at delivering biting dialogues.

Now if only they tone down the background music -the lightning, thunder and the voices every few seconds reduces away the effect of the scene and the effort of the actors. If there is a petition to change Paro's clothes can we add this too?

It was a small role, but she played the neighbour of the family who was interested in Nanhe (the cricketer son) and jealous of his interest in Kamia. Those days she used to be known as Preeti Khare - not sure when she changed her name to Ananya.

Yes please, all petitions I will gladly sign - they seem to have broadened the spread of Paro's dupatta - may we hope that it was due to feedback they received?
