Love. Affection. To be cared by someone. These are the simple things which Rudra yearns for. These are some things which is got by default ,which is not talked about much by regular people because you get it when you belong to a family,having loving people around you and so many people,myself included take it for granted sometimes.
But then there are people like Rudra. Craving for love,breaking inside every time even a simple word such as 'mother' is mentioned even in a sentence,volatile,like a bursting canon that might go at any time. But why is he like this ? What has shaped a personality such as his ?
No one has ever bothered to know nor ask. People such as Laila refer to him as a man without a heart. Is that even possible ? Every human being has emotions,every one wants to be loved. No one goes out of his/her way to deny themselves of such basic emotions be it love,care or concern.
What made him the way he is ? His actions ,his words are that of trying to ward people away. He has created a wall around himself ,not wanting to be broken again. Is he wrong in doing so ?
As a kid,his father has always unloaded his burdens on him,never once bothering to think how it would affect him in the years to come. His chachi tells him on his face that his mother neither cared for his father nor himself.
How is a kid supposed to face all this ? How can he suddenly bear so much on his tender shoulders ?
So his only coping mechanism was to bottle up everything inside,reigning in his emotions,building that invisible wall and portraying a hard exterior. This was easier for him.. to not care at all. He could breathe more freely.
But all this was just a facade. He was still the kid inside. How can one just turn off emotions permanently ? At some point or the other,it was all going to come bottling up.
And the catalyst here is Paro. He comes back to the house,he once hated. Memories he once tried to crush come frothing up. Nostalgia. What he once had,he wanted to have again.
Pain crosses his features,as he is suspended in time.
And then his eyes harden,his face is set. Reality comes crashing back.
But he now has a reason to live,he has a goal now. And it all comes down to Paro.
He would stage her death just to keep her alive.
For her,he would even face the demons of his past.
For her,he would give up his life.
Beautiful episode overall. Got more of an insight into Rudra's past and Ashish was wonderful as always,with the expressions and the body language👏
