Firstly, hats off to Ashish! He was simply fabulous ,right from the beginning as he is incapacitated by the vile uncle and his henchmen who plunge their daggers into him,as if he was a mannequin, revelling in it as they take revenge on him for having dared to stop them.
And for a while,it seemed as if everything was lost.
And as he lies, having bitten the dust,so as to speak, they gloat over their victory but they make the mistake of speaking against the country and the Indian flag which was flying close to the headquarters for which Rudra had given his whole life to serve and this raises the patriotic spirit and the anger in him and the beast in him awakens.
Question-These people aren't Indians ? The Baraatis ? Can someone please clarify ?
He tells them not to take advantage of his silence and just because he wasn't offering to back answer did not mean that he was a coward and challenges them to come forward and try to go past him!
The facial expressions he sported were brilliant! Reverence ,as he looks at the Indian Flag to slow building up of anger from the grim set of his mouth and fierce determination, intending to wipe out the people who dared to speak against his beloved country, was wonderfully portrayed by Ashish !! Take a bow,Ashish 👏👏
And his HAIR. Special mention to this gorgeous mane of his <3 I couldn't take my eyes off him
He was every inch an officer, who would give his life for his country.
And the fight sequences take place and he annihilates everyone including the vile uncle.
I felt that the violence was a bit too much in this episode,as I really couldn't stomach them but that maybe because I'm faint hearted,I admit it ! I don't even watch horror films 😛 . But very well shot and choreographed scenes 👏
And then the damper.
Why ,Varunsa, why ? 🥺 was the question that came to my mind today when without batting an eyelid,he held the gun against Paro, someone who he vowed to save for 7 lifetimes ?
And then I thought ,after the initial shock that he was after all concerned for getting both himself and Paro across the borders safely but when Rudra refused to back down,he maybe thought that if he pretended as if he would shoot Paro,Rudra would let them across as how could he let him shoot a woman but the plan backfired. The rational part of my mind told me this😒. So,Rudra shoots him as in his heart of hearts,he would never allow anything to happen to Paro.
Sob.
The heart believes what it wants to believe. I really was heartbroken because, not in a moment did I suspect that he was anything else, from what he portrayed himself to be.
And he bites the dust, just like everyone else and at that moment,Paro wakes up and sees her husband falling like a rag doll,on the bare desert sands. SIGH.
She is horrified beyond belief, unaware of what had taken place.
Her scream😭
You can see the immediate concern as he hears her voice and in that instant, there was worry as he feared that he would misunderstand her ,as he had shot her, only to protect her from Varun . But alas.
And the Precap broke my heart. What a thing to say to someone who has always yearned for his mother's love😭 That image of both of them, sobbing their hearts out, mirror images of each other, seared through me like a branded iron on skin 🥺
Overall a good episode. Ashish and Sanaya both were fabulous and Vishal was amazing as well ,throughout 👏
So now,the misunderstanding begins.. But out of all this, will come something beautiful,a lifelong relationship,so I'm game <3
