So Paro Dress Is Not Bold Compared To Her Village Girl Look.

@red, yeah its true, but its only in the costal areas , now most of them cover with a dupatta or towel

Because Parvati got up one morning and said, "What the heck, I am beautiful, I have a beautiful waistline and I am going to show it off. Bite me. :)

This topic has been discussed before - and I agree with you that Paro's attire is not in sync with her character and different from other women in the show (Sanaya is beautiful and will look even more beautiful with a full pallu). Having said that - there are people on this forum who accept and embrace Paro as she is shown - it's their POV. My POV is RR is doing great - except for these minor inconsistencies 😊

I also felt the same. Her skirt is shorter than others and her chunri is draped ver differently. I mean why cann't the lead be dressed up like the other women to give a better feel. Accepted that she is the lead so she needs to be different but still the blouse and the chunri could be more authentic. I didn't feel like saying this because it will invite only negative comments and criticism for my view but yeah she does look an urban metro city girl decked up in traditional attire which is way too modernised as compared to the original dress. I know people would say I am Sanaya hater or basher but let me make it clear that I loved her in LRL, MJHT and ofcourse IPKKND.

YA, common sense, some pple just dont have it, especially CVs. They are dressing Sanaya like an alien beauty. Hope CVs along with some other pple can use some common sense and sync Paro's dress with her character or dress rest of the women like her, fancy blouses, neatly folded dupatta and shorter skirt. Paro will mingle right in if they all dress up same. Common sense, you know 😊

did u completly skip the loads of traditional snaps of real Rajasthani women posted on page 3?
come on respond to constructive answers too!
the CVs have done their research well.. from the colors to the dress design its pure traditional rajashani dressing. shy part doesn't come to it.

even the boldest girl in one area may wear a salwar while the most shy girl in another place will wear a bikini!
its tradition n the norm.. shyness doesn't come in to it.

No, I did not skip the snaps. But I do not see CVs dressing the villagers like any of them. Its only Paro who dresses up modern lehnga - choli. If they dress up all of them in same style, Paro would not look like an alien.

well i don't know abt being an alien., she looks utterly breathtaking.., and the dresses are as traditional as it gets for that part of the world.
for u the tummy exposure is modern, but in old rajasthan what was maodetary is covering the head n tummy was mostly exposed..

as for covering the rest of the artist on the show, far be it for me to point fingers at a healthy girl.. but seeing the negative female actress wear a midriff bearing clothes n how bad it looks on 'her' i don't blame the CVs for using 2 different dress types (both equally traditional) for the lead n the others..
