I was thinking that too. According to Rudra's dad, she was "khoobsurat", and well Ranisa is a beautiful woman...and the fact that they put in an effort to show the love between her and the Thakur out of nowhere. But since she's the Rani, Rudra's dad stays chup about it.

I hope it doesn't happen but it would be an interesting twist for sure since Rudra is on the BSD taking the rightful control of the land out of the Thakur's hands.
