Also, I think Rudra is a guy (man he sure is that!!!) who has no qualms in using or abusing according to HIS thinking. If he feels it is right, he will do it. In that respect, we might at times feel that he is heartless and has no conscious. But it is all in the psyche of his make-up. That's just the way he is. And his excuse is that this is the way he has been brought up. Of course, he is an adult now, so he can change his way of thinking, but why do so when it fills a purpose. And there is no incentive to change. Yet.

And I think Laila is this. According to Rudra, they are both adults, it's a no strings attached relationship (if you can call it that) and both are getting out f it what they want. Of course, he might have no idea that for Laila this is more than just a need to be be taken care of. (That she is in love with him.) He might begin to feel remorse when he falls for Paro. But that is a looong way in coming!
