Yes, you're right the action shown is unrealistic but it's supposed to imply strength not be reality. This is pretty typical of Indian film be it movies or TV. Whether it's a hero laying a villain down flat with one blow or whether it's a hero who couldn't handle one goon in x amount of time and then hearing his lady love is in trouble all of a sudden despite his weakened state has the super human strength to fight off 5 goons...it's all entertainment. If people can accept larger than life heros and action on the big screen then why not the small scree, For me the action sequences brought in a movie feel and I enjoyed them.
