hello people

so basically i and there is another friend of mine who is a mad fan of sanaya and now ashish were having a talk regarding the show. so basically what they are trying to depict is that people cross borders to get married without acknowledging any rules or regulations. so is it like possible? i mean without any identity proof and stuffs and that too indo-pak border. yes, i understand that the story more or less revolves around weapon smuggling on the name of marriage but how is this possible. No one is allowed to just cross the border , get married and take the wife back.

sometimes on moral grounds i think bangladesh people and our people are let to cross borders( i watched it in a crime patrol episode) but indo-pak border has high security stuffs going on. so we have to really take it basically as a story and not find any sense in it ??? ok i am a little confused really !!!

next thing is what they are showing of BSD which is ofcourse a depiction of BSF is quite harsh. i am not complaining there was nothing better than watching the hero go all macho and sexy in that attire but isn't this going to land the show into legal trouble? i guess they are really going to justify about the BSD killing paro's parents. they might have changed the name of the forces but yet they are showing a part of indian army and that kind of behaviour is not at all approved. so is it like to create a bad boy they are doing whatever they wanna do ?

CVs really need to get this straight before the show is in trouble and like other shows they have to change the story names and stuffs. it will be a mess because the surrounding and stuffs in the story is really spectacular as well as the actors. The violence is attractive but they have to justify it right ? The hero is a part of the Indian forces so he can't just do what he likes althought its kind of sleek and hot watching him go all rugged and violent. There is protocol .

i know some may disagree and say that its just a story but yet i think there are few things about which the CVs should really take a look so that the show is not jeopardized

Hope creatives & PH, Channel wud have looked into the legalities before conceptualizing such a concept ...

Guess more than marriage across border show gonna deal more with arms smuggling aspect... 😕😕... & Love hate relation of the main lead...

As for depiction of BSD --
(just my guess) I think dat gonna work as a suspense aspect in the show, who killed Paro's parents ? who attacked the bus ?

Quite possible, Thakur Sa is behind everything , just to keep his exclusive control on the village he is presenting a bad picture of BSD & keeps them away from the people & Vice Versa...Thakur Sa is much more beyond what meet our eyes 😊😊😊...

As for Hero getting all violent & macho 😆😆... creative liberty is allowed to creatives as long as they dont really go to extreme in effecting the image & protocol of real army people 😊😊

@ purnima ... ofcourse the show is going to change sets soon and all we would see is love hate relationship of the main lead which will be worth its while but the first few epis are the base of the show and isn't a maariage every time to someone across the border too much to swallow ?

and i guess u r right .. the thakoor is looking sleazy and i too think it was his men who killed the innocent villagers .. lets hope its not justified as a sacrifice in war ...

and well its already at extreme don't you think .. first day the PROBABLE BSD killed so many people .. and now third day the officer breaks protocol and kills so violently without following orders ... its will be interesting to see how much they can show without getting sued ... !!! hope for the best !!

I saw a post here where a girl shared that her dad told her while watching the show 'this is the reality in Rajasthan' i personally dunno how true it is..
Also well its a fiction show I am sure they r taking creative liberties too sometimes..

Well, I read the interview of Mr. Tiwari, the producer of RR and according to him along the borders in Rajasthan many people still have not adjusted to the political realities of partition and after reading stories like Toba Tek Singh (by Manto, I guess) you yourself start questioning the notion of geographical borders. So seeing it from a literary point of view, I totally get the point. Now talking about the 'practical' aspect of it, movement across border is illegal but that in no ways means that its not happening and I guess that is exactly what the show is showing, but then when captured such actions do not go unpunished and that is also shown in the show. Secondly, about the marriages across borders, there are said to be two kinds of realities, one objective and the other subjective, and there is no question of relative rightness or wrongness, coz after all its all about perspectives. And to think about it, people who live in small villages wherein education and awareness are not at their best, what doe one really expect? I can actually understand why such people would be willing to disregard the larger nationwide law and prefer to follow their own customs, coz that is their lived reality and it's much more real than those far off notions of laws and constitutions. What one needs to keep in mind while thinking or reading or watching anything about these small villages along the borders is their segregation from the mainstream which leads to lesser identification with the mainstream and thus a stronger subjective reality.

Well, that's my way of thinking, but of course, to each their own is what I firmly believe in😊

hmm it seems quite confusing but may be the CVs are trying to focus more on the weapon smuggling in the name of marriage.

I think the BSD killing Paro's parents will be justified by showing that it is not BSD but the Tagore who did this to keep his Thorne and control over the village. It's not like people are getting married every week across the border it's an annual thing and It was also clarified that they are doing this secretively against government and BSD. I think it is as justified as it can be in a fiction show after all a fiction has to take it's creative liberties.

That's my opinion. I felt it was as convincing as it can be.

While shows take a lot of creative liberty and not everything in them is based on logic but more to create cinematic drama, certain care is required.

Having said that my assumption is in communities which are divided by partition such that relations live on either side of the border, certain leeveway is given for marriages and other family meetings based on humanitarian grounds. Of course it is done with proper permissions and paper work. I guess this is the premise the show is using, yet to see how CVs are going to handle this.

As far as the death of Paro's parents is concerned, I think there is much more to it then was shown and it maybe revealed at a later time. At least I hope CVs will explain it at some point.

With feedback and response the makers may tweak things a bit and try to appeal to their audience. Neither the channel nor PH would like any backlash.
