The marriage between borders will be coming up in the coming episode(s). The way I understood is that the Royal family arranges a marriage each year between the townspeople across the border, pays for it and uses it to smuggle weapons. This is how Parvati will be shown getting married and her husband will be killed in the search and shoot out.

From wat some character said on d show,it appears that paro's parents boarded some unknown bus at night,a bus which probably carried illegal armaments and their dealers. So their deaths happened by accident

Rajasthan has one of the most vulnerable borders in India,...the reason being Thar Desert. There is a lot of cross border activity going on in that zone, including illegal transaction of arms and ammunitions. The Border Security Force (BSF)...shown as BSD in the serial has a very tough job. The marriage shown cross border is probably just an eyewash...and the main job is the transaction of weapons. Hence, if the army gets any such information they are bound to stop this...and probably in the process people get killed. But most of them involved in these marriages are indeed people who carry out these transactions.
