Here Rudra has been abandoned by his own mother most probably for another man ( we don't know the whole story) and Paro lost her parents at the hands of the BSD ( it's really confusing because why Would they just attack innocent villagers if they are protecting the border). It's very ironical here because Paro hates the BSD because they were responsible for her parent's death and Rudra despises beautiful women because his mother left him and due to that his father has embedded some very strong feelings in him.

I an loving this.

Priyanka

thanks Priyanka :) ya its good to see everyone back together once again here! 😳

@red : very very true! it was such opposite things that happened, and while Rudra's hate erupted due to the desertion of some1 of his own, Paro's own were ripped from her...
And she despite the high gravity of her tragedy rises about it due to the loving nurturing of her mama, mami and di while he is left barren..

Also just maybe its cz Paro is much much younger than Rudra.. I am guessing the little girl is abt 7 and the little boy about 12-13 when their paths crossed...

Good analysis Sunara. You laid the points very well and brought out the underlying nuances. Yes, I too will be happy if they explore both the lead's pain and ways of dealing with. Both are scarred by tragedy. Sanaya too said that her character has various shades and lots of ups and downs and emotions.

thanks di n ya she did say that.. really looking forward to this particular brand of storytelling!!

Now that I think about it, during IPKKND, Khushi's true emotions were undermined a lot. I remember after the forced marriage how her pain was completely demolished. I understand that she was the type to kind of hide her pain but hiding it, I think, was a mistake on the part of the PH. Without disclosing her true emotions, I think they partially failed to truly explore the depths of Khushi's character, a character that may have had more potential then Arnav. Regardless of that I loved IPKKND. But I'm really glad that they're working with that on this show! Great post btw! 😃 And sorry for mumbling about a bunch of stuff that probably makes no sense. 😛

very true! Khushi might be a person who puts up a happy front to cover her pain, but the problem was this happy front should have been for the other characters in the show and the sad reality to us viewers. There should have been lone moments when the true feelings emerged..
so truly i hope they explore Paro while they travel on this journey..

hehe u deffa made good sense Nashita! anywya so good to see many old IPKKNDians here! ⭐️

Ainta ya Rudra's pain is all for every1 to see.. while Paro's lurks in her subconscious.. even she is not much aware of how much it has affected her.. but it surely has left its scars on her..

There can be no greater acknowledgement of Paro's pain than nightmares. She seems to be a well adjusted happy girl because she was brought up in a loving environment where she could just be a kid but obviously the deep seated pain that's hidden away in her sub concious mind surfaces when her concious mind is asleep. Wow, what an awesome way to capture the depth of her anguish. Rudra's pain was fanned by his father's own anger and so for him it's a part of his persona. I'm so glad that Paro's pain is not going to be hidden away for the audience to have to figure out. Episode 1 rocked!!!

aww di! u didn't know? well as I was anywya raiding the net for news n pretty much clicked on anything that had RR n SI on it lol i saw that!😆

@red : true, she is so happy, carefree and for all intents and purposes brought up with the same love, caring and sense of security that she had with her parents as she grew up among the love of her aunt, uncle and elder cousins sister..
BUT the fact that this fact lurks behind in her subconscious as nightmares means that even though she seems to have recovered and got every care, her sense of security was truly violated the day she saw her parents burn to ashes...

lol ya am i glad that its not to be hidden! i would have had a field day like last time hehe writing posts every night! I already seem to have started that though! 🤣

I won't deny the fact that I had seen IPK...and honestly at one point of time I was frustrated with the male chauvinism that they showed in bits and parts. But here things are different! I remember when we were in school, Othello was a part of our curriculum. And one fine we all had an extensive discussion about all the characters in the play. And so had come Desdemona's portrayal. This lady comes across as a victim not of her love or her family but the circumstances. She seemed cursed and that's the realism of it all. Yesterday while Rudra let his anger out openly, Paro had kept it within her heart. Even if her pain seems to be ignored its only so that later we can draw up a parallel conclusion with Rudra's. Creatives have handled, till now, this entire situation sensitively. Paro is basically a deuteragonist who will turn tides so she has to be subtly exploited. Yesterday's episode showed that and I wish they keep up. Rudra as his name speaks has to be volatile but Paro can't afford that for she is the thin line between that famed black and white! I am looking forward!

You have connected the dots really well !! I'd be glad if the CVs truly follow up equally on both the leads' tragedies throughout the show...
