Jamuna brings tea/coffee and an a huge tray of sandwiches... they are so neatly arranged, she wonders if Jamuna is Rachel Ray in disguise
She stares at the help... and has to finally ask her "Aaapne kaise lagaya inko aise?"
Jamuna is embarrassed "Woh to kisi ne sikhaya, aapko bataoon?"
She nods happily
Her husband makes his way in sits down on the chair she is leaning on... pulls her scarf's edge as he does... "Tchh" comes from her
"Eat!" he orders
"Abhi ek min"
Jamuna quits speaking is ready to flee
"Abhi sikhayiye"
Baad mein?" she squirms
"Khanak, you want lessons now?" tugs her scarf again, fingering her hair now...
Khanak takes a bite from the veggie pile, they are delicious... she could have a dozen she thinks...
"Truffles khatam ho gaye?" Jamuna is leaving
"Nahi, hain" "Laaoon?" she asks
Her husband rolls his eyes...
Jamuna gets them from teh frig
Lays it out a dozen on a fancy crytsal plate
"Sab mere liye hai na?"
Jamuna laughs and leaves
She places two dainty traingles on the crystal plate and takes it to the sofa.
Her spirits are soaring, she is happy...
"Are you going to eat the dozen now or later?" he mocks
"Aaapko us se kya?"
"The coconut is my fave" he says joining her on the couch
Places his half eaten tuna sandwich on her plate and goes to grab one, she takes it instead and bites into it...
"That was mine!" he says, taking the plate from her trembling hands setting it on the coffee table
"You are a dessert bandit!" pushing her on the couch, closing his mouth on hers and claiming his coconut truffle right off her tongue...😳😳😳
