The now familiar sound of the alarm followed by the ritual of hitting the snooze button again..the irritating instrument needed to be shifted to his side!!

Khanak hugged herself shivering from apprehension and also from the cold for she was clad only in a slip. She had fallen asleep in the jeep on the way back from the clinic after swallowing a hefty dose of nightime cold medicine and she didn't remember how she had landed in the bed. Perhaps he had carried her in and had also undressed her, she had been completely unaware of it, sleeping the sweet sleep of complete exhaustion...she blushed. Now there was no meaning of privacy between them anymore. They had crossed all frontiers in their marriage and that too in such a short time. She was his and he was hers.
But where was he now'he didn't appear to be at home.
She panicked and ran into the balcony, calling out his name, but he wasn't there. She ran back into the house and searched through the small place thoroughly and as she still didn't find him, the fear was slowly replaced by anger and hurt; how dare he leave her alone without informing her? Even if it had been an emergency he could just have woken her up!!
She opened the front door, dashed down the stairs almost falling; her eyes still to adjust to the dim light. She ran out into the parking lot; her brain efficiently working on all the possibilities despite her fragile nerves. Both the Jeep and Boxter were still parked in their places,meaning that he had gone somewhere on foot. Heaving a sigh of relief glad that she had not missed out on any family emergency, she scanned the empty street quickly and instinct made her run out onto the beach..there appeared to be something about the sand and water which drew them both to it.
A very cold blast of spray hit her making her cry out loud;

The rest of the words failed to come out as a strong sudden force knocked the air out of hermidriff. She coughed, croaking out a pathetic scream as her body was swooped of the ground and she was swung over someone's shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

She wasn't able to speak any more as he clamped her mouth shut with his and did not let go. Her hysterical movements gradually ceased as she closed her eyes and slumped against him allowing herself to be carried upstairs.
