Yashashri Masurkar who essayed the role of beautiful Khanak in 'Rang Badalti Odhani', is now set to play the lead role of a gorgeous princess in Imagine TV's popular show, 'Chandragupta Maurya'.

Earlier we had reported that Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya has taken a decade leap and Ashish Sharma who was last seen in Gunaho Ka Devta, will be stepping in the shoes of Rushiraj to play the adult Chandragupta Maurya. And the latest news doing the rounds is that Yashashri aka Khanak of Star One's Rang Badalti Odhani will enter the show as Chandragupta's love interest Mrignayani. Her character will be of a gorgeous princess of Takshila and she will be seen in the show from this Saturday.

Confirming her presence in the show, Yashashri said that she is extremely excited about her role as princess Mriganayani. Further she adds that essaying the historical character for the first time is really a challenge since the role and overall look of the character will be completely different from the character she had played before.
