This is not fair Aditee.. I'm in office checking for an update or two but dekha to itne saare updates.. hmm... had to decide whether to check my mails or read your updates 😉

I loved the way Khanak admired a sleeping Shaan.. this is the first time she is doing it.. hopefully it'll go on forever..

following lines were beautifully written.. i was like OMG...

"They were suddenly strangers, very polite, very respectful, she was unbelievably shy, he was elated and euphoric at having her sit by him like that"

But the best part is

Khanak: when did you first fly?

Shaan: 6 weeks'' I am told''. Mom discovered she was pregnant while returning from Australia! Chachu's!

and her answer to that "u flew when u were formed"..

As usual the update hangs @ the right time and palce

Shaan: Are you talking about my wife? (mocks)

Khanak: Who else wakes you? (curious)

Shaan: You are right! No other person does

Hope the trip from LHR to Logan is more eventful..

Part 94

London Airport

7-11 AM

4^th June 2011

They are in the BA First Transit suite at Heathrow, she took yet another nap! He worked or did his own thing she did not know. When he woke her at 9, she was ready to sleep for another 8 or 10 hours atleast!

Khanak: Please abhi nahi😭

Shaan: Tum Boston mein so jao, abhi utho

Khanak: 10 minutes?

Shaan: nahi khanak...

Khanak: Ughhh. I don't think I like you very much at all (burying her face in her pillow)😭

Shaan: Too bad, coz this all you got! 😉(laughing under his breath)

She tears herself from the bed, showers and wears blue jeans and a full sleeve Benetton cotton shirt that had slim blue and pink stripes. She was so skinny her shirt would not tuck properly, she still wore her belt as if to restrain it.

Left her wet hair to air dry, packed up her hand luggage, when he shaved. There was breakfast on the table on the side. She went to take a look, there was all sorts of food, muffins and bagels and such. She eats a cinnamon roll and the gooey syrup leaks on her fingers, she walks into the bathroom licking off her right hand, in order to wash her left.

He is shaving, she reaches for the sink away from him in the inside corner. He is wearing a UMASS tee and a towel, his hair is moist also. "He shaves AFTER he showers?" "Hmmm'" "Very important, very relevant and good to know"😳😳😳 Her heart huskily declares.

She can hear it go swoosh swoosh in her ear as she apparoaches the sink.

She mutters a faint "I am sorry, my fingers are sticky" and bends down to open her faucet

In less than half a second, he has turned off his faucet (is good about conserving natural resources!😉) and has spinned her against the wall

Shaan: You've got to be kidding me! (he warns)

Khanak: Kya? (strains against his grip)

He is holding her left and right arm.

His thumb making circles on the insides of her arm.

His face is almost wiped clean there are white foam borders all over but ...

She turns sideways and looks at the mirror.

There is something very sexy about her in formal clothes and him in a towel and a tee.

Khanak: From the looks of it you are at a disadvantage Mr Gujral (taunts)

Touches the knot of his towel with her sticky fingers, it sticks to his waist

Shaan:I was thinking it was more like a lead Mrs Gujral (husky)

Khanak: I have cinnamon sugar all over my hands also

Shaan: I have shave cream all over my face

Khanak: We are equals then? Shantanu?(quivering)

Shaan: If you want to call it that Khanak... (mocking)

Crushes her to the wall as he kisses her. Smothers her physically... his scent and his kiss overwhelm her

His right hand is on her waist, it has pulled her shirt out and is inching upwards while her right hand is still over his towel knot

Later...

Khanak: Now I smell like I shave ! (horrified) 😭

Pushes him away with full force, he moves back an inch... His white tee is brown on the edge where she clutched him.

Shaan: And I smell like I sell roses outside a bakery
