Chris if he was being tacit about his work I can understand...why u know, because he was not neglecting her in any way. He was working when she was not around or sleeping not like working away when she is near asking for his attention. There is a difference. And if she wanted she could have worked too when he wasn't there. So I won't call his working being sneaky! He was very open about it, he knew she knew he was working. He was simply smug about it.

What I feel is she thought he will crib & give in slowly but didn't realise he can be so thunderous in his rage. She thought she will get away just like she did everytime with Suraj. She had no idea that Shaan would be so volatile. But hopefully she learnt her lesson. All her life no body has said something so strong or has been mean to her in any way be it her parents or Suraj. She is defiant that way & for the 1st time in her life she faced an equal of hers. It will take a while for her to grasp this.

DJ the teens or tweens (no disrespect to them at all) have a rosy idea about marriage & life & their Prince Charming. They think the Prince only romance & sweep the wives off of their feet & is there at their beck & call.

But real life is very different & we who have faced it all know it better. A Man like Shaan would not react the way everyone thinks by being apologetic & sorry & asking for forgiveness from Khanak. A guy like that reacts a very different way & I have seen men like him. So that rosy tint in not there covering my eyes.

I had an uncle like him & my aunt was no where even near to Khanak in any way. She always gave in to him but still he is a total 'akroo'! The fights went on for months & my aunt would try her level best to sort it out but he wouldn't budge. In front of others he would talk to her like nothing has happened but the moment the guests left he would be back to square one.

Shaan may not be as bad as my uncle but he is atleast 10% of him. And here his action is justified as well.

the sadder part is that ive seen and met people who live in such delusions still. and not they aren't the teens or tweens. grown woman. who've been out in the real world. lose one great guy after another. and then they wonder why they dont have a relationship or anything steady.
