Takhat Singh

He is Suraj's father. An honest and emotional man, he is attached to his crumbling haveli and is happiest when he is repairing parts of it himself or planning extensions to it. He is happy when Suraj lands a decent job at the village factory, with the thought that he would finally be able to rebuild his haveli. He is devastated with Suraj's death, and wants justice for his son. Quite contrary to the rural mindset, he is pained to see his daughter-in-law Khanak's grief too.

Mangal

Mangal is Takhat Singh's elder son and Suraj's brother. He has a limp, and uses it as an excuse not to work, making Suraj the sole breadwinner of the family. He is greedy and, along with his wife Hetal, is always looking for ways and means to earn more money. When Shantanu offers the family a huge compensation for Suraj's death, he is the first one to agree to it.

Hetal Baa

Hetal Baa is Mangal's wife, who is exactly like him in nature – selfish and greedy. She is always looking for opportunities to make money or to usurp Khanak's jewellery.

Gopi

Gopi is Suraj and Mangal's younger sister and a good friend of Khanak. She comes across as a warm, positive person and with good values. She is a sweet, lovable and talkative girl, who is happy to see Khanak become her sister-in-law. Like her parents, she is also devastated by Suraj's death

Congratulations to the team of RBO...

It would be nice for the show to have some celebrations on the set since they missed out on 200...and if they could invite their old team of CVs and interview them...

I remember around 200 episodes time, we had requested for a BEHIND THE SCENES episode....but they didnt give that to us....well, if the channel could kindly oblige this time..puhleez
