Re the precap scene, usually n RBO, we dont get to see the same scene in th actual episode aired. Let us wait for that to know what happens... for me, as of now, that move by Rahul reminded me of Rajnikanth films... and RBO is quite far from those.
I would say "WAS" is more like the operative word here!
