Shaan was on cloud nine recently because not only he had a surprise party for his parent's 50th anniversary in Rang Badalti Odhani but he and Khanak had also consummated their marriage in. 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲(When was this? Or did i miss that Epi?????)
However, he will soon get a rude shock to hear that all is not well between his parents who are about to part their ways.
A source says, "On the night of the celebration itself, Mrs Khandelwal announces her decision of separating from her husband. She tells Shaan's father she can no longer pretend to be happy with him anymore. It will be shown in the flashback scenes that the couple was never happy in their relationship but stayed put for the children. Now that the kids are grown up Shaan's mother feels she no longer has to take care of them. So she thinks it is the right time for her to divorce her husband, as there was no love left between the two."
Shaan's mother is ambitious and did not like to be a homebody. She was always this woman on the move. "The couple will have a huge argument and Shaan's father will try convincing her to stay back with them but all his efforts will fail. Meanwhile Shaan will overhear his parents' conversation accidentally. He will be initially shocked to know this and won't react to it immediately but it will slowly start affecting him. His behavior will change suddenly, which will bother Khanak," the source adds.
