Just got off the phone with Divya:)

About Khanak's comment, it might come from a belief that an SR is not to be disturbed and anyone who does invites a curse... so no taking of things from the room etc... am just guessing here, but I do know that there is a general belief that a couple coming together is too pure and private to be disturbed.

Whether that hints at ShaNak separation or Mads-Sunil separation, who knows... let's not worry abt it now. Today's episode seems too good, to worry abt that part.

But I don't understand one thing- why have an SR for Sunil-Madhvi? who does that for parents' wedding anniversary? I read something abt south Indian custom. I have never heard of this. who said what abt a south Indian custom? Pls someone tell me... my connection here is too slow to go back and read all the posts. Thanks.

gaayu i totally agree with you...i really wanted to see khanak getting educated...maybe doing college or something privately...and getting a degree or something...that had been an awesome track when khanak was learning english!

let me give u an example

i think u would be knowing this film an award winning movie...(name fully forgotten it will end manavaralu that much i remember )

where actress meena is the grand daughter of nageshwara rao rohini hatanghadi of Gnadhi fame acted as his wife and she comes to the village .,from U.S stays with her Grnd parents ...etc., etc., The story is irrelevant hence i am not continuing this..

but to the main part

In that they would be celebrating their 50th anniversary(GPs) and the children would decorate their room with all floral decorations and other things sjust as ShaNak are doing for Madsun..

and nag rao and rohini will all sharmaofying recalling their younger days etc.,, in Sr room..

this is just an example..

it does happen at least in films
