Rushad talks marriage and stuff

Rushad Rana, who plays Akshay Khandelwal on STAR One's primetime show Rang Badalti Odhani will get hitched in next month on December 10th.

He is all set to marry his lady love Khushnum.

Rushad said, "We met last November at a function. I would watch her in the fire temple and my father sensed that I liked her. He then introduced us later in the day. We started hanging out together after exchanging numbers. I discovered that we had a lot in common, and decided to get married. She then told her parents in Muscat, who were okay with the marriage. My parents liked her from day one. Our marriage date has been fixed for December 10," he says.

Speaking about his fianc, Rushad says that she is a hypnotherapist and psychologist. "She is pursuing a MA in Psychology. She is also a trained pianist and conducts piano classes. She had seen me before on television so she was aware about my profession."

Rushad is busy with work, but his parents and Khushum's parents are working to get everything ready for the wedding. "I'm taking my leave at the end of November. The wedding will take place at the fire temple at Jogeshwari and then the reception will take place at Malcolm Hall," he added.

On asked whether he would be as henpecked as Akshay is, he laughed. "Khushnum is nothing like Khushboo. She gives me my space and is not dominating."
